Kanata Custom Cabinets

I am totally thrilled with Kanata Custom Cabinets! I wanted a very specific type of cabinet built and I was very picky about it.I've included pictures so you can see the special drawers that Stu built for us. I wanted to utilize every single inch of storage space and as you can see, we were able to do that by building drawers that went around the sink bowl and drain pipes. Stu was very patient, listened to my ideas and made tweaks at my request. The cabinet that he built for us is absolutely stunning and is exactly what I wanted. And his price - completely undercut everywhere else we went but did not cheap out on quality. You cannot go wrong with Stu! PLUS he is super awesome and easy to work with. It was truly a pleasure to work with him. He is a contractor that you can trust. And my dog loved him! We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

From beginning to end, can't say enough about the quality of service we received from Stuart - we love our built-in wall unit! Working from a picture I found online, he provided additional design suggestions, spoke to the materials he would use before he started the job, completed the job on target, and our house was spotless each time he left. We hired Stu to design and install some built-in cabinets around our fireplace, as well as a bench and coat rack for our foyer. Stu was polite and punctual, and his craftmanship was top quality. We had a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling built-in wall unit done and we love it!The design stage got started when we shared our idea and Pinterest photos with Stu. From there, Stu came to our home and discussed the concept with us and provided some input/suggestions to refine our ideas. Some measurements were made and Stu gave us a 'ballpark' estimate on the spot and then follow-up up with a detailed estimate and computerized images in an email. From there we were able to modify the design and each time Stu sent us an image of what the final product would look like. There was one last visit to finalize the concept and take further measurements and the design was completed.For the install, it was done in a few different stages. At each point, Stu kept us informed of the work he and his team were doing and there was always opportunities to discuss the work or ask questions.The final touches for the wall unit were done and the we were amazed at the level of detail and care that went into the final product. It turned out better than expected and we couldn't be more satisfied.

Kanata Custom Cabinets are the best. I wanted to replace the wine rack in my kitchen cupboards with shelves to hold cookbooks. They were quick to assess the project and give a quote. Stu listened to my ideas and gave me options on what he could build. the cost was very reasonable and the shelves were installed in three weeks.
