They butchered my Yorkies hair. Cut his ear hair off after I was growing it for 2 years then blamed me when they asked the usual I said yes then blame me for not reminding them. Why wouldn't they call me of unsure. They refused to even give me my money back including the tip they didn't deserve. So disappointed. The owner Marita didn't even have to the decency to call me back later. When I was there she said it's OK it will grow back..start over. Not even funny. So for 60 dollars she doesn't care that I tell everyone what they did to my Yorkie.

My dog is 16 and has been groomed by Marita for 6 years. Marita is patient and gentle with my beloved but ornery dog. She will accommodate my needs, i.e. start to finish and already bathed and take the time to carefully trim my dog. This is the only place I feel confident in leaving dog, and feel lucky that Marita puts up with the challenge my dog presents (my dog has been kicked out of other salons).

Just got back from picking up my dog, Sawyer , and he looks amazing , seems quite happy! I have tried other groomers with my grumpy Maltese and this is by far the best he's ever looked. Will definitely be taking him back there !!! So thank you Westwood groomers !!!!

I highly recommend Westwood Groomers not only for the great job they did but for making a difficult situation so stress free. I had a very difficult time finding a groomer who could deal with my very tempermental dog. Two attempts at different dog groomers ended with phone calls that said they couldn't handle my dog's aggressive behaviour. At Westwood they were able to easily manage my dog, get her groomed properly and make the visit less stressful for her. I am so happy I found them. If you have a difficult dog I highly recommend them.

My Pom has come here for years and always leaves looking beautiful :) no complaints !!! The technique is the best I’ve been to. I don’t like it when groomers make my Pom look choppy. She does a good long cut and short cut in the summer. Super sad you’re moving !!!

I'm disgusted with this place, these guys need to be shut down for animal cruelty. My dogs been groomed here before and when I got him back he had cuts all over his body. Not realizing, I went in again today, And they had two other dogs cut up. She's not even looking at the dog while cutting his hair!! She cut him infront of us, I immediately grabbed my dog and left . Please dont put your poor babies thru this place, there is no proper care, It's all about making quick cash. Your better off getting a 10 year old to shave ur dogs. It breaks my heart seeing those poor dogs being put thru this torture.[Edit] In response, matting and having a dog with CLEAR CUTS on their body AND SCREAMING IN PAIN are two different things, I did see it with my own eyes and heard it when your worker cut the poor dog infront of me and my friend. We leave our dogs trusting you people. I cant believe you're defending this. No wonder you got so many bad reviews.

Called to make an appointment and the person who answered was rude. Kept putting the phone down and yelling at someone, like they were across the room. I am sure the animals don't appreciate being yelled at so I decided to go somewhere else. Just because some people put a good review out on the intranet doesn't mean the place has that great of customer service or is good for your pet. How do we know that it isn't there friends putting all the reviews out there. I am skeptical of this place. UPDATE: I phoned Westwood Grooming. I find it very weird that the owner is so defensive. Look at her answers, always defending, not apologizing. I am glad we didn't take our dog to her. Hope others read this and her responses and really think about what her responses say about her customer service. If I was an owner I would apologize even if the error wasn't mine just to keep in good standing with customers.

She's amazing with my mini schnauzer. My dog, he's quite a grumpy old guy and doesn't get along with many people. At home it would take me 3hrs to give him a hair cut. The groomers here are so patient and efficient with him. They also remember my dog Iain every time.
