Phil and his team were professional and respectful during every interaction that we had. Phil treated us with kindness and respect from the initial quote, to installation, servicing, and most recently removal of equipment after my husband passed.I would recommend Advantage to anyone who needs medical equipment and supplies. Phil's team took care to clean up their workspace in our house and garage. They communicated work times and costs, and refined the project until it really worked for our needs.Advantage was great to work with. I highly recommend them!!

I first discovered Advantage Home Health Solutions when I was choosing a provider for home medical equipment for my elderly parents. I chose Advantage because of their positive reviews. I was not disappointed. I found Fran to be very patient, knowledgeable and compassionate in her dealing with my parents. She helped my parents find products that enabled them to be independent in their home. The equipment was installed quickly and professionally. Fran and her team are top notch. I would highly recommend them!

I purchased a folding mobility scooter from Advantage Home Heath and had the best experience. The customer service is outstanding. I had some trouble with my bank authorizating the large purchase and they were so understanding and patient despite having to stay long after closing to get the issue resolved. They also helped me figure out a creative way for me to load the scooter into my vehicle on my own even with my disability. They truly went above and beyond and I so appreciate the care I received. You have gained a lifetime customer. I highly recommend this company for all of your home care needs, they are caring, attentive and very educated on the products that they offer.

I needed a sling for a lift for my dad and Phil took the time to explain the various options available. The one that he helped me choose wasn't in stock and I needed it right away, but Phil spent a lot of time and effort on the phone and tracked one down for me. He and his staff are knowledgeable, professional and kind and I highly recommend them.

We had a Simplicity chairlift supplied and installed. There was a intermitant problem with the chair that went beyond the warranty period. Advantage continued to respond and trouble shoot the issue at no cost until they found the root cause which was a defective battery.The truly support their customers and stand behind the products they sell.

This review is long overdue. My mother’s walker was damaged on her flight to Calgary and we needed to replace it. We called late n the day last year, on Thursday, June 30, the day before Canada Day and a holiday weekend. Phil came into the store early Saturday morning when the store was closed so that my mother would have a working walket and would be mobile. Excellent quality walket/Rollator, and service that I know I never expected or experienced before. Thank you! I can’t praise Phil and Advantage Home Health Solutions enough.

Advantage Home HealthThe recent acquisition of a new home also required engaging a company to help me design an accessible entry into the property. I initially called on a firm that claimed to be specialists in this area and their quote was extremely expensive with surprising gaps in accessibility basics. There after I began to search for a company that had experience with lifts and ramps since their practice was more focused on real, not theoretical, design principles.I was so fortunate to find Advanced Home Health. Phil and his team did a beautiful job of installing a sturdy lift in my garage and renovating the exterior access to the house and interior of the garage. Their design works beautifully and enables me to transition my husband very easily from the car to our home. It also looks wonderful! The workmanship demonstrated by the AHH team was first rate and everyone who came to my home was lovely and helpful.As an aside, shortly after our wonderful new entry was installed our movers accidentally bent the small ramp on the lift. Within days Phil was onsite and assured me the damage was not serious and put things back in order. So relieved to have this support.I cannot recommend them enough.

Aside from getting a discounted price, I received poor customer service when purchasing a wheelchair and the staff were unprofessional and uneducated about disabilities and the products they sell.My wheelchair was being ordered in from another store and the time I had been quoted to wait passed without receiving a call so I phoned in to ask if my wheelchair was there. The employee stated the model I wanted was there but she wasn’t sure if it was for someone else so she said she would call me back. Again, I didn’t receive a call back so I came into the store the next day to see if it was mine. The employee said it was for someone else but she forgot to call me. When I arrived in the store, the bells on the door jingled and I said hello to the staff however I was completely ignored. After several minutes I said hello again and the staff acted surprised and said how did you get in here. Very weird.When I was notified that my wheelchair arrived, I came into the store however the battery was dead. The employee asked me if I had the charger which was very strange because I was purchasing a new item so I clearly wouldn’t have the charger. The employees then began looking around until I suggested they look in the basket of the wheelchair, where they found the charger. The employee then began dragging my wheelchair sideways towards the front door, without putting the wheels in neutral or folding it into a position where it could be rolled. I did not like seeing this expensive item handled in such a reckless manner.When it was time to pay, I told the employee that a purchase order had been sent in from a funding agency. The employee acted extremely confused and said she didn’t know how to find it, even though I made sure they accepted these purchase orders in advance. Again, I had to direct the employees to check their emails, where the purchase order was found. This whole time, one of the owners was rolling her eyes and being rude to her employee for not knowing what to do, but she didn’t step in and help, leaving me to help the employee do her job. All this time while I was waiting, there wasn’t even a chair at the front where I could sit down. I paid for the remainder of the wheelchair but I wasn’t able to get a fully paid out receipt because they had to submit the purchase order. I waited a month to receive the receipt despite numerous inquiries. Because I hadn’t received the fully paid out receipt, I wasn’t able to submit this expense to my insurance to receive some reimbursement. Because of the delay, I accrued interest charges on my credit card even though I had carefully planned out a way for this to be avoided. I sent emails to the store then finally contacted the funding agency and found out that the store hadn’t sent in the purchase order until weeks after my purchase.Although I was initially happy with the price, by the time I received my wheelchair and the receipt I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience and did not have any confidence in the staff members. Staff also weren’t wearing masks, even one time when they said they were sick and I could see they were displaying symptoms of a respiratory infection. This is unacceptable.The front door also isn’t wheelchair accessible and doesn’t have a push button to open. Push buttons are very helpful for many people with disabilities, not just those that are using a wheelchair. There is wheelchair access at the back door which is quite demeaning considering the store is supposed to cater to disability.I would expect a much higher level of customer service when buying any item that costs thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. 6.5 months have passed since my purchase, because writing google reviews is not a top priority for me. However, I was still frustrated enough with this entire experience that I know it is necessary to share my feedback. Rather than insinuating that this complaint is illegitimate, I strongly encourage the owners to accept this “frivolous” feedback with grace so that future customers can have a better experience than I did.
