My wife and I tried Lucky House for the first time tonight. We absolutely loved it! The food was fresh and flavourful, as well as reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. We got takeout, but the restaurant itself is cozy. A great option for Chinese food in the downtown and St. John's in general. We're happy customers who will definitely return soon!

Overall good and big portions but the ripped me off for my ribs!! My favorite part of the combo!!! I should have checked my order better before giving them the thumbs up on Skip the Dishes

Stupid punjabi place with Chinese alphabets. For real. Don't trust me? Visit them and see how long they take to serve you your order. Lack of communication with the people working at the front and at the kitchen.

My wife and I went here and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We especially loved the Kim Low Wontons. They were fresh and crispy. We also enjoyed the Beef Fried Noodles. The beef was incredibly tender and the noodles had a wonderful wok breath flavour. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to satisfy their appetite for great Chinese food!

I ordered food on the website and the order was confirmed. 15 mins later I went to the restaurant. No order was received but I paid for it.They could care less. I left and was like that's not right. I paid for food and didn't get it.I called back and was hoping that they would realize why I was frustrated. I was given a fake number in BC.After calling back they never picked up. I hid my caller ID called back and they picked it up.Finally they made a call and a few minutes confirmed my order. Had to go back in 20 more mins to get my food.

The fish fingers seemed it was cooked in the morning & just microwaved at night. Taste was weird. Chicken fried rice was bland but ok. Fries were ok too.

A friend recommended Lucky House when I was looking for Chinese food for a family dinner. I walked in to order takeout and received friendly and helpful service. Portions are generous and all dishes we ordered were tasty. Favorite was the Lucky House fried rice and the beef and broccoli. None of the dishes were salty, which was a pleasant surprise.

Everything about this place is really great. It's quiet, quaint, and enjoyable in general. There's not much seating here though, looks like they do mostly take out. You can still sit down and have table service though. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food came really fast. I ordered BBQ Pork fried rice and my girlfriend ordered the Singapore Noodles. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. The food was absolutely delicious. It was just so flavorful and satisfying. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for really good Chinese food at a decent price. Great Job Lucky House.
