Sumac Middle Eastern Market and Eatery

As always customer service was incredibly friendly and good was ready quickly but with no slip in quality. Every time I come back I swear the food gets better. I enjoyed a chicken shawarma platter, my girlfriend had the chicken shawarma wrap with the fatoush(sp?) and lentil soup. It was delicious and we could barely finish it all. The garlic sauce that comes with the chicken shawarma I can eat by the gallon. It'll always be one of my favourite spots to eat.

Very good food but it feels a bit expensive for not a great quantity of food. I don’t go there as often as I would if it were a bit more affordable.They have lunch deals which are very basic, but their dinner specials are delicious (but can be pricey).

Awesome supper! Really tasty food, big portions and quite cheap. The kunafa is delicious.

Great prices and the food is fantastic. Whether it's authentic" or not. I couldn't tell you. But the food tastes great. Loses a star because of the overall appearance. The place still uses the old quiznos stuff that used to be there before

I used to love this place but they have a very inconsistent service. Same item that you order in different days of week, will for sure taste AND look different every single time!! 6 month ago it was 3 times good out of 4 times. Now you can say it is good 0 out of 4 times! I asked the owner why does the same item in you menu with the same name is a totally different thing now (beef shawarma) and he said oh we changed our chef (!!) and that was it.....! Not going back there EVER

I hate it due to service. There Timing is 10AM - 10PM. Me and my friends went at 5:30PM but they said they don't have Enough Beef for 4 Plates. They are open till 10 and they don't have enough food. It ruined our Evening. And we didn't go blind. I called one day before coming and confirmed about timing and Buffet and when we reach they didn't have any buffet and not enough food even. Not recommended at all

The food there is the closest thing you will get to what you would get in the Middle East. Keep in mind that each country has a different version for the same recipe, and what you get there for flavor wise, is exactly what you would get in Syria. The chicken shawarma is delicious, falafel is excellent (just don't let them toast the sandwich for you, it ruins the overall taste), you also must try their salads, hummus, kibbeh, and soups.My own problem, is the consistency of the taste of food. I find that the food in the afternoons tastes much better than the day time.I find a full meal has a much better value than a sandwich alone.For middle eastern food, they are excellent.

Food was just fantastic and delicious. I had the beef plate and my wife the chicken. Just the right amount of sauce, the rice was just the right amount of sticky, the humas was very tasty and the lentil soup was super in terms of taste and texture. Will definately be back. Oh and the gentlemen who served us was very friendly and helpful

I came from UAE and have been craving Middle Eastern food. I did a search on Google and came across an article from 2016 on the opening of this restaurant. I was excited to go there.
