I went in for my cpl, got an appointment pretty easy, they do accept walk ins though, very friendly people there.

Absolutely the worst place to have to deal with. After waiting 9 months for my appointment I found out the online scheduler allowed me to book an appointment after the building has closed. Once at the building for my scheduled appointment time of 5:30pm all the doors were locked. No one would answer the phone number listed on the website and the security guards at the door did nothing to help. They simply looked at me, then the time and made sure the doors were locked (I can say with certainty they were as I wasn't able to open the doors) before simply walking away from me. Zero help from anyone if I was able to give no stars to this place I would in a heartbeat.

I spoke with Janae this morning in the CPL department. I had a TON of questions and she was VERY professional and helpful in getting the information I needed. I see so many bad reviews for this place that I felt compelled to share a positive experience that I had.You all should give her something. She could have been rude like others, but was not at all.Kudos to you Janae!

The attitude of them ladies down there is terrible. I asked an alleged supervisor for simple records in their Lien and judgment book, she caught an attitude and said she don't know what I was talking about!!Earlier that same day I requested the same thing in Oakland County and it was such a pleasant experience. I was out in 15 minutes. They need consultation from Oakland County staff members or something.

Incompetence at its finest. They have no issues wasting your time with their lack of knowledge. They will say they can’t answer any questions and if you don’t have deep in-depth understanding of the law, they take full advantage of that as an opportunity not to do their jobs!!!

I have tried to contact Cathy Garrett office and waited 7 mins and no one answered the phone. Does anyone work there or is this just a waste of taxpayers hard earned dollars? I will try again but if they don't answer then I guess I'll have to go there. They said you can't get in without an appt but how does one do that if they don't answer at all

I came in to look into some business that should have been taken care of 15 years ago. The system truly failed me in that sense. However, Monica Brown from room 901 (Wayne county clerk) was able to assist me. And take care of the matter. She even personally called me back with an update. I pray she is rewarded for all her efforts and hard work. Her co workers, could definitely take a page out of her book. As they were not helpful at all. I won’t mention the two young ladies names. Worst place to try and receive help ..information... The phone ..they hang up on you after sitting a 1/2 hour on hold. Horrible service. So frustrating

The individual that took care of my marriage license was totally rude. She yelled at us, was walking away while barking orders. She truly does NOT AGREE WITH YOUR MISSION . HER NAME IS KELLI.
