Ethica Coffee Roasters

By far the best coffee in Toronto right now. The staff are all well informed and very skilled, some of them even still mask which always makes me like a place more. the location is beautiful, but it's really all about the coffee is undeniably amazing - complex and rich and flavourful, needs no milk or sugar or flavours to be delicious.

2023.06.24 I like this coffee shop. Friendly. My hot Americano was to my perfection. Different seating styles. They have seating outdoor for smokers.

This coffee roaster is a must-go spot after Museum of Contemporary Art visits. Their flat white, latte and cappacino are seriously good. Actually I got attracted by the aroma from their entrance. They have choices of Brazil Fazenga and Ethiopia Sidamo for their espresso base coffee. Brazil beans gives you a balanced flavour that welcomed by most people. Sidamo is comparatively an inexpensive bean from Ethiopia and I feel very excited the roaster can magically roast its brightness, floral and citrusy aroma flavour to maximium. I am a fan of Yigachefee and it makes me have a very different thought on the possibilities of the lesser expensive Sidamo bean. If you have a good coffee machine at home, I recommended to stop by and buy some beans from them as they are the true mastery roaster in Toronto.

Great ambience. Coffees looked great, but we found they tasted off or strange. Unfortunate, considering the price. It’s very expensive here. Thank you for the response Ethica. I’m not looking for a refund, but appreciate the offer. Next time I’m in the area I’ll give the cafe another try.

Great Place to discover ! If you’re a coffee / warm drinks / food lover you’ll certainly love this comforting place. You may get the chance to enjoy a concert but nice music will always be part of the lot ! We always find it perfect after a tough CrossFit session by their Auxiliary neighbors.

One of our favourite cafes in Toronto. Drinks are reasonably priced and atmosphere is enjoyable whether a live show is one, it’s busy, or when quiet. Staff are very kind. Some favourites include their pour overs and the flat white. They have various roasts at any one time so you can try to find the beans that suit you best. Their baked goods are sourced from Blackbird which is always well made. It can be hard to find parking especially in the winter but that’s the only downside.

A hidden gem hidden in a building. Had latte and espresso and they are super good. This is the best coffee I had in Toronto. The staff are very friendly.

Much larger cafe than imagined! Was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was when I walked in. I got some coffee beans, an espresso shot and a pastry. Would definitely return and recommend to any coffee /cafe lover.

Very spacious and well lit space! Cold brew was nice but matcha latte was a bit underwhelming. Beware of the laptop free policy. The city has other cafes that use their beans so I’m not sure if this is a convenient location to visit without a car.
