Chris is a skilled, empathetic, and intuitive massage therapist. He has helped me manage and resolve a chronic shoulder injury and stress-related muscle tension in my neck and jaw. Chris also has training in yoga and he's helped me slowly challenge myself with modified poses as I build back strength in my shoulder. I highly recommend Chris' therapeutic massage therapy treatments, especially for those dealing with more complex injuries.

Great experience. Clean and quiet space. Shewchuk gives a very intuitive massage within the RMT framework. Was very pleased with the massage and results in following days. Strong hands and good pressure. It was also nice exiting into a beautiful and quiet part of Nelson in my relaxed state.

It is so refreshing to receive from an RMT who uses not only his formal knowledge, but also his intuition to track down and hone in on the root of an issue. I came to Chris on my way through Nelson with sore neck and shoulders after driving and camping for a week. Having had a lot of body work before I was grateful to find Christopher’s touch to be gentle or deep depending on my body’s restrictions and my verbal feedback. He provided a fantastic 90 minute massage that enabled me to release deep restrictions and let go of cumulative stress in my body.I will definitely be seeing him again for massage anytime I’m back in Nelson and would encourage anyone looking for a professional RMT with an open heart and exceptional skills to try him out.
