À La Villa Rivermead

It was the worst hotel I ever seen. This is a house with few rooms and one bathroom shared by all guests. I booked one room but when came and so I tried to cancel. Lady at front was not cooperative and this booking was not refundable. I did not stay there. Be careful with this hotell.

This is a beautiful B&B. Very well maintained and the hosts, Paul and Sunny are absolutely wonderful. Rooms are smaller than usual but well kept. Breakfast is wholesome. Parking can be tight.

What a charming place! This hotel experience truly felt like a home. The hostess, Susan, treated us with warmth, like family. The rooms smelled clean and disinfected. Would recommend.

We had such a pleasant visit at A La Villa Rivermead. A cozy spot where you can feel at home.Only minutes from Downtown Ottawa we could feel free to go back and forth any time of day.Super friendly staff and very attentive. They offer computer service, snacks and fruits trough the day.We will definitely go back.

My worst experience at a B & B ever. There was no cupboard, closet or shelving to put contents of suitcase. I was advised that there was a closet outside my room in a public waiting area that I could use. There was no desk for laptop. There were no instructions for TV. The space was very cramped. I may have slept 4 hours. The walls are paper thin and everytime someone above used the washroom a fan came on that sounded like a drill. There is constant traffic outside, including tractor trailers and no protection from the light. The owner could have installed insulated curtains that block the light. I did not feel at ease nor did I feel safe. I cancelled my second night and gave reason above. I received no response. When I called the telephone number, I get an answering machine, and no one calls me back.

I had a great night with my boyfriend. The care taker on the property was so sweet and kind. She made us feel really at home and was always quick to flex her schedules to fit us. I was going to miss breakfast on Saturday morning due needing to be in Ottawa and she still worked it out so I could have breakfast that morning. She really is the best part of the property. I am looking forward to staying there again and highly recommend this property to others.The property is beautiful and extremely well kept, our room was spotless. The breakfast was great and the location is good. For all those whom bus, you are really close to the Park 'n' Ride.

Friendly home. Welcomed by the Owner.The room with a king size bed plus a private bathroom which is clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered was really surprising. A lot more than continental and nice table setup. We did enjoy the night we stayed. Definitely will come back again!

The hostess, Susanna, is so friendly and accomodating. The location is beautiful, and the rooms were well kept and clean. There is parking onsight, and breakfast included. Everything was wonderful.

The location was beautifully remote. Amazing landscape. Great breakfast. The home was great clean and classic. Hosts were super friendly.

Run down place, the room lacks simple basics like coffee and tea making, glasses, not even a box of tissues... very poor value for money...the owner left the plce to a single poor lady who has no idea about hospitality business . This owner should sell the place to someone who u understands and cares about hospitality business.
