Fresh, tasty and DELICIOUS! My only regret is not getting an extra side of protein. We had the Tom Yum and Miso with salmon. Will definitely be back!

Chose Nell’s kitchen as my birthday lunch to introduce it to my friends. We ordered two tomyum bowls, a prawn taco bowl, a miso sable fish bowl, and the clam chowders. All bowls were amazing. Fish was so fresh, cooked perfectly, flavours balanced and the chowder was so chunky and flavourful. A little extra touch for the birthday girl made a lovely surprise. Thank you Nell! Ate it on a beach bench in the sunshine. Couldn’t have been more perfect! Love it here.

The size of the fish was a joke. The salmon burger had a sliver of salmon - couldn't have been thinner. And the sablefish and halibut bowl had the smallest piece of fish. We were stunned to see how small it was when we opened the bowl. For dishes btw $17-19 for take out that is of this quality, I'd rather go to a proper restaurant.

Nell's kitchen is a hidden gem. It's as close to a literal analogy as possible as it is tucked by the window of a fresh fish store. It was the first location where fish burgers and sandwiches are not dry. Albeit, 16 dollars for a salmon burger, the price, from my experience as an avid food consumer, is justified. The freshness of the fish as well as how recently the food was prepped is reflected not only in the flavours, but the texture as well. Nell was polite, concise, and quick with her orders. She was manning the kitchen by herself but went through the short line of customers with ease.A must-visit location from anyone living in Greater Vancouver. I stopped by as I was in need of a lunch and was passing by, but it is a trek I am willing to make from Coquitlam.

I was in West Van area and decided to check Nell's Kitchen. It was the best bowls I have ever tried. Extremely delicious and healthy. I loved every single bowl and it was the best clam chowder I have ever tried! So bad I live pretty far from this area! Thank you Nell for your delicious bowls.

I have tried a lot of different lunch spots. I would eat their food every single day. It was the freshest! So many different fresh fish dishes and other seafood items, mixed in healthy bowls, tacos, or sandwiches. Big fan, they were consistently really solid. My favourites were the miso halibut or sablefish bowls with an extra side of shrimp!Food 10/10Atmosphere N/A take outService 10/10Value 10/10Extremely rare that I give tens but this is well deserved.

Absolutely delicious! First time getting food from Nell’s today and will definitely be going back. I had the Salmon Greek Bowl and it was amazing. Looking forward to tying other options.

Had the Tom Yum Bowl with fresh Halibut and it was incredible! I don't know who Tom is but the bowl was definitely Yum. 10/10. Even Gordon Ramsey would be blown away!

We came here for the first time and the food was absolutely delish and fresh! I had the Tom Yum bowl with fresh halibut & my friend had the Tuna Tataki bowl. The menu was simple – you choose from a list of seafood such as salmon, halibut, sablefish, or prawns. Then select either rice or quinoa as the base. For the bowl itself, there’s a great selection of yummy sauces such as Tuna Tataki Bowl, Taco Bowl, or Glory Bowl. It was sure a difficult choice. They also offer seafood burgers and shrimp croissant. The wait was a bit longer than usual but definitely worth it.Due to Covid, there isn’t dining inside available. Why not enjoy your lunch by the ocean. They’re located right inside the Village Fish & Oyster Market off 15th and Marine Drive in West Vancouver. They’re open only for lunch from 11 am to 3 pm. I will be back to try the other bowls! A hidden gem in the neighbourhood!

This place is amazing! A small take-out counter in a local fish shop. The food is super fresh and tasty. The first time I tried the halibut glory bowl"
