Course is in great shape. The new ownership are friendly and obviously spending the time and money to keep.getting better

I have never played this course but have purchased tee times on line to play it.After reading the reviews of players who have played this course i am very disappointed to say the least. Those who have played and gave positive reviews in my estimation are true golfers who love the sport. Those negative ones would complain no matter what shape the course was in especially if they were playing bad. I say from what I've read in the reviews the new owners are doing a great job in sprucing up the course. It was not their fault that the previous owners let the course run down. Gentlemen Rome was't built in a day. Kudos to the new owners for having a vision and following through to make that vision come true. With the help of true golfers that will surly happen. Given a little time Willow Tree Golf will be an all around 5 star course . Good luck to the new owners and staff.

We played last year and you could see the effort was being made to improve the course. The staff were great and that hasn't changed. We played again this year and the course is getting to be in incredible shape! Greens are night and day different.

The course is in great shape for early in the season. Year over year plays great and the pro shop staff are courteous and friendly. It will only get better with the season. So glad to be back.

Some of the best golf, and worse golf I've ever played. My opinion it's not because of the condition of the course.I understand the quality part, but imagine if every golfer was actually passionate enough to not be to negative. Lost so many golf balls. If it's anything I can't afford, that. If you sign the waiver to operate the golf cart. Be careful past the tees of hole number four. Very steep hill. That hill might've been more extreme than the whole sport of golf maneuvering that one part. Ive warned you. Really good opportunities to score from the very diverse structure of the course.. Lots of elevation So much dense bush lining the rough, and fairways. Makes it the most challenging golf . Greens are nice at least from where I was playing them from. Firm greens consistent enough still, with flaws.even with massive clusters of debris on the surface of them. It made no difference. I say it's still playable from an amature golfers perspective. First time playing Willow Tree Golf. These are just little things. Got a nice flop shot from the rough on hole number one There's even enough sand on the 18th hole to bury like 40- 50 golfers In a row maybe more?. It's the biggest freaking sand trap. Imagine if golfers stopped having an opinion and all brought just some brooms next time they went to this golf course.Anyway For the value and just the layout everything the company of people. The whole experience. Was enjoyable with what a golf course should expect to give people and offer them. Just not up to par with what most peoples standards and expectations are for a golf course. That would be hard to sellto some people but you sold it to me and I'm happyAnyway Thanks. ⛳️

This place has gone thru a lot in the past few years and I'm here to tell you they are back and in fine form. My favourite course in the area. Go shoot your 80's at the easy courses in the area, good luck breaking 90 here, it's long and strong. Love the full mature trees that you won't see at any course, some are 100 years old that's no joke.

Willow tree golf has come a long way. The course is getting better and better week by week. They are putting so much effort into the building and the course. Kudos to everyone. Shout out to Bella at the pro shop always welcoming everyone.

I will first start off by saying the staff are super friendly and they deserve 5 stars.The fairways are nicely cut but terribly covered in weeds.The greens need a fair bit of work, patchy and very slow.The online discounts really help attract me to this course because otherwise I wouldn't pay full price when I can go around the corner.

I golfed this course two years ago, and I promised to never go again. Now that it changed ownership, I figured I'd give it another shot. All I can say is wow... what a difference. Staff were incredible, and amazingly patient with my chatty little boys! The course was great shape especially considering it hasn't rained in AGES! It's a tough course, but everything was very very playable.I honestly can't believe they have made this much improvement in only 1-2 years. It's night and day compared to what it was with previous ownership. Is there room for for improvement still? Sure! But what a great start.Strathroy has two courses again! I look forward to watching this course come back to its former glory.We will be back!
