I ordered 3 cubic yards of the premium soil for my lawn. Customer service was good but the product itself is another story. Description of premium soil is light and dark in color. When the soil was delivered, I could immediately tell there was an issue. The soil i received was light in color and more of a dry hard consistency. I called the mississauga location and they confirmed that the premium soil was delivered. Either the actual product delivered was incorrect or the quality is not up to par. Sad to say I'm very disappointed in the soil that was delivered.

I have been buying firewood from Van Beeks for many years. I burn a lot of wood and VBs have always been well seasoned and nicely cut. I have always found VBs to be super friendly, responsive and quick on delivery.My most recent delivery seemed a little light" in terms of quantity. Not sure

My God we drove from Caledon we we're helped by Sue ...she took us outside and showed us the different types of gravel stone SHE down sold us a cheaper stone and the info she gave us was excellent please do urself a favor screw home depot come here ... you won't regret it ...

I guess you take the good with the bad?I completed my order online the last week of June 2021, and the prices were great! They beat out other local company prices and the product appeared great from the available online images. I am new to ordering such materials in bulk and the website was helpful and user friendly.I completed my order for 5 cubic yards of stone (4 of the 1”-3”, and 1 of the 3” and larger), 2 bags of black mulch, 3 bags of premium soil, 2 rolls of sod, and a large roll of the heavy mesh material for placement below the stone/garden bed.I documented where the delivery person was to drop the stone as requested, with detail. The product was to be shared between 3 neighbours. The delivery was confirmed quickly and planned for the next day. Excellent!The next day I called to ensure I had everything organized for delivery to our home in Mississauga. I was happy with the customer service as I was told all was confirmed, drop off details are noted and if I have anything to inform the delivery person I can do so at arrival. I was Informed that the driver has my number and will likely call before unloading.My partner Jason was present at the time of the delivery and I was in a meeting in my home office. I made my way out right before the product was offloaded. I was told by the driver that the spots I put an “x” for the stone to go is too close to the house and a tree so better not to dump there. I can understand this concern and appreciate this feedback however additional discussion and planning would have resulted in a much better offloading spot.The delivery person dropped the entire load of 5 cubic yards of stone, the bags of mulch, bags of soil, sod rolls and roll of material in 2 huge piles on the driveway. The products were all buried with heavy stone. I ask him about this and the driver said that’s the way you get it. He then left.I would have appreciated a more involved discussion about the best place to have materials dropped at an urban residence. Additionally, taking a few minutes to help me change the drop off spot for the stone would have been very helpful as we had to move it by hand. Finally, dropping all of the stone on top of my other products was not okay in my opinion.As I looked for a Customer service - email - to document my concerns I could not find one.I finally found a few minutes to write a review, so here it is! I hope this is helpful.I will likely be open to buying products from here again; however if I need delivery for a large order I will likely look elsewhere even if the cost is a bit higher.Good luck with all your landscaping projects!

Van Beek's stands behind their products and their customer service is amazing. I have purchased wood from them several times because of the quality of it. I had a small issue with a recent purchase and they more than compensated me for it. I would highly recommend Van Beek's!

Premium soil has rocks, lots of little rocks. 2nd replacement load had fewer rocks but still we are picking them out after spreading.

Ordered 10 cubic yards of material. Their delivery times are from 7am to 7pm, they deliver to contractors first. So a day pretty much wasted when they deliver at 7pm. Customer service is grade A worse ever, they argued with me… interrupt while speaking and just refuses to listen, and implicitly called me a liar. It’s overall frustrating experience. The manager told me time is money for contractors like homeowners time is not money. Needless to say, I wasted a day and never dealing with them again. Refund and waste of time, I call them Van Bleak from now on. Disgusted.

Purchased mixed hardwood and very pleased with the quality so far. We tested a $13 bag first and found it well seasoned and a good mix of species, then bought more during their Black Friday special (15% off), and they threw in a free bag of kindling too which we didn’t know about. Picked it up today. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and we never felt like we were being upsold on anything. Can’t speak to relative price as this was our first firewood supplier but with the deal, quality, and staff, I don’t have a reason to look elsewhere.
