Hôtel Château de l'Argoat

Very nice hotel. Could use more electrical outlets and usb ports. Very hard to find. Friendly staff. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Has double entry doors into your room. Able to walk to Old Montrel. Alley parking behind the building. You have to leave your keys so cars can be moved. Definitely would stay again.

Great acommodations and wonderful service. This hotel had free parking in the back and free breakfast. The hotel was comfy and the rooms had a cool atmosphere.The best part was dogs were allowed at the hotel and the staff were super friendly to them. I felt I got way more value than the amount I spent.

Extremely disappointed and angry with the staff at this location. They advertise free parking, but if you aren’t the first ones to show up to the hotel, they run out of spots and wont let you park there. They refused to give us a refund when they informed us they had no spots. Not accommodating, not kind, and not professional. Do not recommend to anyone.

Second stay. I miss having a coffee maker in the room, and coffee was finished by 9 when I went to get a second cup. This time I stayed in the two room suite, and the personal fridge is a welcome addition, especially living off of takeout during COVID. Some rooms lacking a fridge drops my rating, though you can use the lobby fridge. Excellent location, one of the few downtown hotels with (limited) parking and personable service. Great decor and character. I'm pretty noise sensitive with hotels, but I've stayed on the main floor twice which I generally avoid and get very little sense of noise from other rooms, more likely to hear people passing by in the hall or lobby.

The team was excellent and very accommodating. We had to make some last minute changes to our itinerary and staff here helped us modify our reservation and overall we were super happy.

Great location and friendly staff. Room was basic and walls were thin, meaning sound did travel - however, it has everything you can ask for when looking for a comfortable night's sleep. Building has a beautiful facade and historic charm inside. Only a few steps away from Sherbrooke metro station. Would come back without hesitation!

Comfy and neat bedrooms. Staffs are bilingual, which helps tourists like me to interact. Washrooms are really big and neat. Loved everything about our stay and special thanks to all staffs who made us feel home.

I spent 2 days here , staff was just wonderful , kind and professional. The Argentinian guy is very kind and professional too , everybody!… what I liked from the hotel is that looks very old I felt I was back in the 70’s , and I loved it!! VERY CLEAN hotel , well maintained, there’s parking on the back ,first come first serve. It’s 30 mins walk from old Montreal. I’ll come back here for sure and will recommend the hotel to my family and friends!

I stayed here for a couple of nights in Sept 2022. A comfortable, unassuming place with small, cozy rooms. The front desk staff were very courteous and accommodating, their service was top class. They offered a simple but delicious breakfast too. If I visit Montreal again, Hotel Chateau de l'Argoat will certainly be my go to place for accommodation. Cheers.

Our favorite place to stay when in Montreal. Clean affordable rooms walking distance to St Denis and Price Charles St. Metro across the street. Coffee and small breakfast included.
