Kevin is one genuine individual I came across and for some reasons I had this feeling I can trust him unlike other big brands out there to rip you off. He got my problem resolved in just $125 for which AAMCO Transmission was charging me $5000 and Canadian tire $3000. He is my first preference now and I highly recommend this place.

Being a professional mechanic myself, I was too busy to fix my dad's van and let Kevin fix it for him. I met Kevin and it was a wonderful experience, I found that he was very honest and straightforward. We had a chat for a bit and he really earned my respect. I realized that he might be retiring some time soon and was saddened because we need more people like him in the industry, very knowledgeable, experienced and genuine!!!!

We had a potential problem with our truck.They took the truck for a test drive and scan and found nothing, then he explained possible paths forward. It's great that he took the time to actually explain things.

Durham Transmission is AMAZING!!! So thankful for Kevin the owner, he was able to diagnose the problem in my vehicle immediately and his prices are very reasonable! He explained in detail what would need to be fixed without adding unnecessary add ons like other mechanics! HIGHLY recommend!!

Stopped off today at Durham transmission because my transmission was making some kind of a noise and took it out for a test drive. Solve the problem. What an amazing place to take your car in for transmission work highly recommended

Friendly, professional and above all else honest. Dealership quoted 2500$ for a valve body replacement on my Subaru crosstreck. Took it to Kevin and turns out it was a sensor issue with my all wheel drive. Replace for 750$ all in. Saved me time and money. Highly recommend

Just tried to ask a few simple questions regarding his schedule and when I can drop my car off and he was extremely rude. I normally don’t write reviews especially bad ones but this guy is so unprofessional. When you are probably spending over a thousand dollars you should be treated with a little respect.

My SUV was making a weird, annoying noise. Stopped by Durham Transmission due to the excellent reviews: Kevin took it for a test drive, told me the issue and had it fixed within a matter of days (and popped on my summer tires as well)! Super friendly, and so thankful he could fit me in to fix my vehicle. Runs excellent now! Thanks Kevin!
