Large, recently renovated store has been in this location for over twenty years. It is associated with the Air Miles program. Prices are in the higher range locally, but has a very broad selection of department s including a bakery, fresh fish and florist. Staff are very friendly and helpful yet efficient.

They have everything you would need groceries wise, however not so friendly staff. Seems they just want to be paid and not bothered at all!Much better experience at the Picton location.

Food is usually quite good. However, I spoke with manager Heather today in meat department to advise that Rachel's corned beef with April 12th expiry is slimy and falling apart. Requested they remove whatever is left so people don't get ill. Writing review as she seemed disinterested and I hope she removes the remaining product with that date.

Lots of fresh produce. Bakery is great. Metro is a little pricey compared to some stores but worth it

Nice bright, clean store and very helpful staff. Kudos to one gentleman clerk with a beard who was loading Pop, spring water, etc., he was extremely helpful. And your in-store handmade pizza, was absolutely amazing - so tasty, so good! by the way, your prices here are way cheaper than Sobey’s in Alberta.

Why it's 2 Stars?? Well....for all the reasons I think we all know why. The price is absolutely insane come on how can you be competitive with those prices. You do realize and I know you're a franchise but did it ever occur to the local owner that owns this joint to maybe perhaps reconsider hey there's quite a few cheaper grocery store options is literally a 2 minute drive up the road. Now I know these prices are set in stone from the company and it is a franchise. But Metro and general needs to get with the times nobody wants to pay for something you're not that bougie you're not that great you have limited items there's no reason to be charging what you are charging. I get that you have day one I've been trying to get this essence from the public that hey we're fancy fresh produce kind of grocery store they come across like there a high-end grocery store and that you get this essence and vibe from them that you're getting quality over prices. Not quite this is just ridiculous this is why I'm giving it to you start your price is prices prices are insane insane insane

They had what I needed, and it was easy to find. I don't get why grocery stores don't have baskets anymore. Everyone has to use a cart. Just picking up milk, eggs and bread? You'll need a giant cart for that?Pretty sure it's possible to clean the baskets also.Staff were friendly and helpful.

I am regular customer, today When all the Italian eggplants are put on the shelf of Mexico eggplants which marks $2,84/ kg, which check out at $11/ kg. Customers are lured and cheated, when found out, store manager shirk the matter to customer.I mean, if staff made a mistake, all I need is a apology, if the store is on purpose to break the price accuracy voluntary code and dishonest, the authority should stop them doing so. Dear manager, please be polite, and no one want to blame anyone’s mistakes, we are all serving other persons in our own field, if doing things wrong, don’t have to destroy the evidence and pretending nothing happened. As a courtesy, all I need is a apology as it waste my time and wallet.

Great store with many selections. Store was clean, great lighting for customers to shop and prices were reasonable. Staff were excellent and willing to assist when needed.
