David responded to our request for a quote very promptly and came out to assess our trees the next day.David verbally provided us with his expert opinion and his reasoning. We learned a lot about our trees and yard in our conversation - it was fantastic! The visit was promptly followed with an estimate (extremely reasonable) for the work discussed.David returned today, less than a week after agreeing to the scope of work, and removed a dying tree on our property and cut back our hedge and removed some dead branches on our remaining trees.We are so happy with the results and our property was left extremely tidy. If you are looking for an honest, reliable, and professional tree care company, this is it! Our beautiful mountain ash unexpectedly started dying quite quickly. We called Urban Canopy on Sunday and David came by outside of work hours to confirm that our tree had fire blight.This season has been very busy for arborists so David told us he would try to come out to prune the tree later in the week but understood if we found someone else who could address our tree’s urgent needs sooner.Unfortunately, we contacted another tree company (Calgary Tree Experts) who told us they would come address our tree care needs right away. After 4 days of no-shows from Calgary Tree Experts, we called David who graciously fit us into his busy schedule within two days.Fire blight is no joke! It will kill a mature tree in one month‘s time. I am very thankful for David’s professional, his timeliness, and his vast knowledge of trees. He spent a great deal of time explaining fire blight, offered follow up care if another flair up arises,checked out the other two trees in our yard, and spent time talking to our Neighbours about their trees.I HIGHLY recommend David and Urban Canopy Tree Solutions for your tree care needs!

We had a fantastic tree trimming and prunning experience with Dave. He was efficient, reliable and acted in a professional and friendly manner. All of the requested work was done the way we expected. He was very tidy and thorough with his work. I would highly recommend this knowledgeable arborist and we will definitely be using his services in the future.

We had David remove three trees that were encroaching on our neighbour's house and garage and he did a fantastic job. I really appreciated how responsive he was and that he charged us what he initially quoted.

Had a great experience with these guys. Really professional. Came out and gave me a free quote for the tree in question and also gave me advice on another tree.The day of the tree pruning was a spectacle to watch. Dave was standing on top of my tree in no time (literally standing on the top of it!) pruning and shaping the tree into something that doesn't consume the garden and let's more light in. Even both neighbors came out to watch and asked for advice for their trees (which Dave happily obliged with).By the end the tree looked great and the garden was cleaned of leaves and offcuts.
