Public Parking - University of Alberta Hospital

Underground parking is CLOSED!!! REALLY!!??? Bad planning... for more than 2 years!!! If I could I would give minus stars.

Worst parking ever

Bring coins. None of the parking pay machines in the parkade or the hospital would accept my credit card, had to use the atm to take out cash, then a coin machine on the other side of the stollery to get coins because the bill was too big to be accepted by the pay machine. I had arrived early for an MRI and ended up being late after all this running around just to pay for 30 minutes of parking when the parkade was nearly empty.

It’s a parking lot, stacked. Grab a ticket when you enter and pay when you leave. Although there are opportunities to pay at kiosks before you get in your vehicle and then you can leave faster. There is no washroom facilities. It’s generally clean and fairly easy to maneuver around in. One negative is that it pricey to park here but there are few places to park and this is one of the.February 19, 2020. Parking here because my dad is in the UofA hospital. The parking is convenient but as I’ve said before it’s expensive and that’s a shame as you really have no choice oh well it is what it is.

No ticket, just drive in and park your car. Then go to a machine to enter your license plate and pre-pay for parking. There’s several machines at the end of the pedway (parking level 4) as you enter the U of A Hospital (floor 2). Or you can download the AHS Parking app (not the City’s ePark app), zone 6486. Staff will give you a mask and sanitizer. There’s an information desk to direct you to where you’re headed.

The posts are different sizes/locations once you hit the 4th floor of the parkade which is the one with the pedway. Threw me off a couple of times. Always spots on the top level.

Well sanded and the price is typical of the area, but it could use more kiosks to pay. I could only find the one by the entrance, immediatly to the right when entering.

Easy to get to. Good amount of parking. Decent price for parking. Only thing that bites is the entrance closes at 7 pm on the Pedway to get into the hospital. However can exit 24/7.
