Canadian Tire

One of the smaller stores for Canadian tire. No line and I paid my MasterCard in a timely matter. Store was clean. As well as the bathrooms. The chain on the key was super long, nobody stealing the bathroom key. Clearance section was nice and broad. Great selection for discounted items. Overall well-kept store.

Year after year Ken expresses his exasperation that you asked him a question, heaven forbid two. Josh the Manager thought Portland" cement was a brand. Things I needed that they were out of stock: Extra heavyweight clear plastic sheets

I was looking for planting mix. The Garden Shop attendant, a wonderful young guy named Billy, offered the best customer service I’ve ever had in that store. He was helpful, efficient, polite & genuinely nice. Thank you Billy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

***Update. I was contacted by the store and Maureen, the Corporate Case Manager. I was provided with a refund for my latest order, which I greatly appreciated. I've increased my rating from one star to 3 stars because Canadian Tire fixed the issue and made things right. Now if only the store could fix their customer service and management issues...***This is a terrible Canadian Tire location. They never answer the phone (had to drive an hour to discuss the return of an online order from their store), reps seem put off when asked for help, and 2 online orders from the store arrived used and damaged. One time, I had to speak to the manager (Mike) about one of these problems and he was extremely rude, unprofessional, and obnoxious - there are many complaints about him, he should be fired. He actually had the nerve to make excuses why his staff does not answer their phones saying that he does not have enough staff and the store is too busy, which is a poor excuse for bad customer service. When I told him I left three voice messages, he tried to blame the girl at the front in customer service for not responding to voice messages. This store is an absolute disgrace. Several days ago I ordered a car battery booster (see pictures). The shipping box was mangled and the item was used and damaged. The seal on the box was lifted, item was dirty and scuffed, and parts were missing. There's no quality control at all, the battery NEVER should have been shipped in this condition by their warehouse employees. So once again I need to drive an hour to the store to return a damaged item. I'll never order online from Canadian Tire or the Sechelt location again. Very poor service and quality control.

They had the work gloves I wanted. The staff are super friendly and willing to take the time to ensure I found what I wanted. A little on the small size, but hey, got what I needed.

I had a hole in my tire and needed it fixed as I had to change it out and use my spare tire.I went to Canadian Tire Sechelt to have it repaired and because my spare is a spare, I thought I should put the regular tire back on and the service rep agreed as I thought it is safer that all tires should be the same. I also asked if they could put the spare back on the tire mount at the back of the car. I did a little shopping waiting for my tire to be fixed and changed back. I have been purchasing my tires from CT for the last 10 years or so, so it was an obvious place to have my tire fixed but when I went to pay for it, I was charged 32.99 to fix the whole in the tire and 30.00 to mount the tire, he never told me that and to be fair I didn’t ask but never did I think it would cost 30.00 to take a tire off and on. And too boot, my spare tire was not even mounted where it should be and where I asked. So with taxes, it cost me 70.00 just to fix…completely ridiculous!!! I thought about saying something there but I just wanted my car back and to be home…enough for today!!! But I kept thinking about it and how I feel like I was taken advantage of because of being a woman. Unbelievable how much it cost to have a flat tire fixed and replaced and it was for some idiot that did not clean or secure a load as it was staples from a staple gun I ran over. Anyways, I used to think CT was fine to go for vehicle issues but not any more! I am done with CT especially the one in Wilson Creek!! I ussd to think they were much more reasonable, especially gfor those on the lower end of the poor-middle classbut they are charging like they are a dealership now!!! Done.

Great garden centre, staff is very helpfulEdit;I know I gave a 5 star review to begin with but have lowered it accordingly. Speed bump in parking lot while drive 5 km per hour broke my front bumper. I've been trying to call automotive to order a part for said car for 2 days no answer, no answer at customer service either. Made a call to Napa and they picked up immediately! Have the part so will purchase it there. Avoid the parking lot nearest to the garden area by the main building.

The service attitude is bad, the defective products are still on the shelf, and I only found out after I bought them home, and I have to drive half an hour to return them. Try not to shop in this store in the future.

In-store they're great, wish they'd answer their phone though.... I just read the response to my review, to be clear the four stars was because you do not answer your phone very often if ever... Reading the other reviews this seems to be a problem so I've dropped it to 3 stars.
