I've used this business many times over the years. Always been happy with the work and the price. Happily since Ross Pettifer has taken over, this has continued. Honest diagnosis and no attempt to upsell to increase my costs and his profit.

Beware of new owner. Took my car in to get air conditioner drain cleared as water was dripping into the car. When I picked it up the air conditioner fan only worked at half speed. I called him and took it back and by then the fan worked at 1/4 speed. He called and told me the fan was “fried” and I needed to replace it. I told him that wasn’t possible because it was working when I brought it in. He called me a liar and got very aggressive and rude. I went to get my car and on the way home the air conditioner just started working all of a sudden. The motor was fine- it’s a loose connection. So either this guy is incompetent or he’s running a dirty business. His behaviour is disgraceful.

Don's is a shop that I trust. Straight up info on diagnosis and do what you gotta do to repair it. No BS. No up-selling you parts you don't need or waiting around. It's a small shop so you ain't in and out, but you won't get ripped off either. The best solution is always thought up and tailored to your needs.

Really love this local mechanic shop and I find the people I talk with over the phone quite reasonable and willing to help. Had a leak in my exhaust here fixed and vehicle sounded great afterwards. Prices were always quite fair also. Preferred going here over more bigger named" auto shops."

I called Don's Auto Shop today for the first time. The mechanic was very willing to help me out on a on a busy Monday service day. The mechanic take my car in 15 min. earlier than my scheduled appointment. Fixed the issue promptly. When l asked him how much l owed. He was very honest and said. It take just a couple of screws and there was no charge. I was very surprised. I realized l found a very honest family run business. I know where l will be taking all of my family cars from now on. Thought i had a bad alternator but it was just a loose connection. Great honest guy i cant recommend him enough

Returning back from a cottage weekend away, the radiator in my truck failed, needing immediate service. Being an hour and a half away from home, Ross was nice enough to help me right away, ordered a new radiator and replaced it immediately so I can get back on the road home. He and Brenna were very accommodating while I waited. The service was quick and priced fairly, in my vulnerable situation. Great people, great service, I would recommend to anyone.Thanks Ross.

I’m surprised I haven’t left a review for this place yet.I take my car here for regular service and any other needs. I’ve done tire changes, oil changes, brakes, general check ups and also basic question on car care.Dealing with Joe and the rest of the staff is great. They are patient and always provide an excellent service.Prices are fair and they are always willing to take the time to check your car even if you drop by without an appointment.I totally recommend this place!You don’t be disappointed.
