Mary's Driving School BC

Mary’s Driving School was probably the best driving lesson experience one could have. Lessons were easy to organize, the pricing affordable and Mary is so lovely and kind. She really sets a comfortable and fun driving experience without stress! Her car is well maintained and comfortable to drive :)

Mary is a very knowledgeable, patient, and kind driving instructor who will make sure you have the driving skills necessary to drive safely and with confidence! She explains concepts and maneuvers in a simple way, and does so thoroughly without making you feel nervous behind the wheel. I started lessons with Mary as an inexperienced and anxious driver, but came out passing my N test with a perfect score thanks to her guidance.She is a very amicable instructor, and I always enjoyed my lessons with her. From limited knowledge and lack of experience in driving, Mary proved I could pass the road test, and I did. She helped me understand how BC road rules work, was honest with my mistakes and gave me compliments whenever necessary. Also, I like how interactive the lessons are, and she made sure that I executed them safely; if not, ask me what I missed and what I should have done, reinforcing good, consistent driving habits. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Mary’s Driving School to those looking to become safe and good drivers.

Mary is an excellent instructor. I was a very nervous learner to begin. Driving is not something easy for me, I found it extremely difficult - my hands and my feet were not doing what my brain told them to do. But today I passed my Class 7 Road Test. Thank you to Mary! I had an oppurtunity to get my lessons from Mary's Driving School, I wouldn't have done it without Mary, and the experience was amazing. Mary is a phenomenal instructor, she taught me a lot of techniques when it comes to parking (this is where I was having a lot of difficulty), but Mary was really patient and believed in me, because of that I passed my N on my first attempt! Mary will go above and beyond to make your driving lessons worthwhile! She never cancels appointments and always on time. I strongly recommend, Mary's Driving School! ❤️

Mary is an excellent professional. I have ADHD and didn't have a good experience with a past driving school, then I found her and I really enjoyed how patience and educated she was handling my lack of attention! She definitely helped me out to build confidence and pass. I made at Dunedin which is considered a bit hard for some people and even though I passed. If you are anxious and need to build confidence just give her a chance!

Mary is a highly commendable instructor! She’s very calm and very patient especially breaking my bad habits and unnecessary maneuvers. I definitely love that we are not rushing every lesson and deeply appreciate how she would spend extra time for feedbacks. We will go over and review her long lists of skills that I have performed and need to work on. Mary will build your confidence on how to be able to observe the environment you are at, identify hazards, control your wheel and speed and to safely communicate with other road users and how to keep your safe margins. We did mock exams and commentary driving and lessons are fun and you’ll get excited to be in a the driver seat with Mary. It’s all about skills and safety and having Mary Driving School to prepare me as a new driver is the best decision I’ve ever made. All the best for you Mary, highly recommended!

Mary is absolutely amazing. When I started, I couldn't drive on roads without having a full on panic attack. Mary's kindness and patience really helped me progress and gain confidence on the road. I got my N today and I have so many thanks for her instructions.She is amazing and will help you learn to drive safe, smart, and confidently.

Mary was the best driving instructor I've had! She is super kind, well-spoken, and knowledgeable. She was thorough in her lessons and was very clear when giving instructions. She knew how to adapt her teaching methods to my specific needs, and made me feel very comfortable and confident behind the wheel! Her lessons are very reasonably priced too, and it was easy to book lessons with her that worked well with my own schedule. Mary is extremely professional. Her vehicle was always clean and prepared for driving. She was very friendly and encouraging. With her great help, I passed my Class 5 road test on the first try with virtually no errors/issues! I highly recommend taking lessons with Mary, and getting her road test package to ensure the smoothest and most successful road test day :)

Just got my Class-5. Best driving school ever! The instructor was so helpful and friendly. She is really kind and patient. The price is reasonable. As a international student learning to drive , I highly recommend Mary’s to everyone!
