The Salvation Army Thrift Store
Not horrible but not great. Their prices last time I went were WAY up from when I had visited a few months before. This place used to be less high quality items but great prices and now prices are not so great and item quality is the same (maybe a bit better overall?).Some items were even priced more than Value Village which is definitely not what I am used to from Salvation army. I think if you want clothes it might be OK (I don't usually look at the clothes so not 100% sure). If you want books (like me) there isn't much variety or newer things and prices are comparable to value village books in most cases (so not the first place I would recommend but maybe you could get lucky?). In general for books here it's a few dollars less than value village or the same (used to be max 3$ for a book here and it's no longer the case). If you want home supplies it might be lower then value village or the same. Some home items like this little tea cup I liked was super overpriced in my opinion and I put it back. If you want smaller knick knacks way over priced. Used dollar store items for 3-5$ and not much variety.Saying all this its not a bad store. Staff were OK when I interacted with them, they have carts which is nice, clean and well organized. Last time I found a handmade doll as a gift. It was 10$ for but I was buying it for a gift and I could tell it was unique/handmade so I didn't mind. The person I gave it to LOVED it. So there is still potential to find some treasure that are worth the price to you.

This salvation army was a bit all over the place for me. The toys were in dissaray with no reasoning behind it sort of just thrown in bins and left. The prices seemed a bit steep compared to the other ones I have frequented in the. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful. Which is a must in my books :)

$400 for a lot of used and broken cameras from the 1980s. I found 4 of those cameras on Marketplace, each were less than $20. Do yourself a favour and just go on Marketplace.

A decent thrift store we'd dropped off dome books and puzzles as well as some used clothing. It goes to a good cause and is a great way to recycle still useful items.

Small but compact, very clean and organized, especially the clothes. Staff is nice. It's a non profit, donate today!

I’m at a loss for words. I usually make a 5 digit donation this time of year, and further have volunteered and worked with SA before. However in the store today as my son is simply sitting on a bike to see if it would fit him this middle aged blonde women berated him about riding in the store, no because he was, but just in case. Who in their right mind yells at someone else’s kid in public for something “they might” do? Clearly the elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top.I didn’t buy the bike, I left and bought one next door at St Vincent Du Paul where they treat their customers and donors with respect

Got some good kids T-shirts, but they have very little in their toys department.

This place is starting to get wayy overpriced for electronics. Thrift store should also have standards and not just keep anything and everything.

Great prices. Since they changed the layout it's much easier to shop the selection!

I used to donate things I no longer needed to Value Village, that is until I found out that they aren't a non-profit organization. I decided to donate to the Salvation Army because they are non-profit. The drop off process was very straightforward and the gentleman working the dock was helpful.
