So sad to see what’s become of a once wonderful part of our community. One used to feel like they were really helping members of our city when shopping there. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I came across a small white table with two chairs, and the table was literally falling apart at the seams and they were asking $150 for it. When I brought this to attention to a very smarmy and rude employee, she said even though it was broken the price was firm. She then, with a straight face, said that shopping at SHARE is better than shopping at IKEA because it’s non-profit. Someone needs to tell his clueless woman that there is NO PROFIT when trying to sell junk for $200! They can’t pretend to care about the people they claim they are trying to help with high prices for garbage, and incredibly rude staff! Very sad to see this once wonderful store go this route.Would suggest people donate elsewhere if they really care, and judging by their responses to the many shared concerns of their customers I shall await more rude customer service from SHARE. That young woman you have working there is scaring off a lot of people.

Overall a fairly standard thrift experience, but the store is very oddly laid out with separate sections. For example, after shopping the first section, you have to pay for anything you’ve grabbed before entering the next section of the store, rather than just shopping the whole thing and paying at the end of the stay. Prices are great though!

SHAMEFUL! I was at the store a few weeks ago to pick up one of the workers. This old woman came out of the store with an office chair, as I was helping her put the chair into her vehicle, it was evident to me that the chair was broken, and so she went right back into the store to return it. She was informed that the store had a no returns policy, but after pleading on her part, was offered a credit for the purchase price, as long as she used that credit before closing time.... which was only moments away!! So in other words, they sold an item, to a vulnerable person, and within minutes of buying said item, outside of the store window right in view of the teller, the damage to the item was discovered, and yet they would not allow her to return within 24 hours to shop for another item in it's place. I can understand if she had already taken it home, then tried to return it, but it was never taken off the property, or even out of sight of the employees.Response from witness of shameful business practice:-Hello 'Owner'. Thank you for replying regarding my concern. I commend you for expressing your opinion with regards to the happiness of the customer. However, you are mistaken on a number of points. I have no argument as to your return policy, nor, indeed did she. Not withstanding the fact that the chair and she were still on the property, and in full view of the cashier, when the damage was discovered, and immediately returned, Yes, she was permitted to look for a replacement item of equal value, as long as she could run around at the speed of light, as the store was closing! She reluctantly chose another office chair, which was priced at $2 more, and, as soon as she exited the store, offered it to me, as she was not at all 'a happy customer', and called it a piece of junk, saying that she has seen better given away free at the side of the road. I declined her offer, as the chair was in terrible shape, but offered to drop it off at another thrift store, which I did the following day. You should all be ashamed of yourselves with the way you treated this lady.

If I could give negative zero stars I would. There are so many wrong things about this place, it would take all day to explain. It used to be one of the top thrift stores in Kelowna, but it's gone downhill in the last few years, now it's one of the worst. Here are two recent examples of some of the problems. They don't properly check that what they're selling actually works. For example. I purchased a crock pot that was supposedly 'tested'. I plugged it in at the store, and sure enough it was getting warm, unfortunately when I got home and went to use it, it never got hot, just stayed at the warm level, not capable of cooking anything. When I phoned to complain, I was informed by management that even though it was not working as advertised, there are no refundsAnd don't even get me started on their overpriced furniture... $400 for a scratched up old (not antique) dresser with a broken leg!! Dollar store items priced higher than the dollar store. etc. etc

Had a rather negative experience yesterday. If you are going to lock things up at 4:15 and close the tills early, maybe you should advertise that the store closes at 4:15 instead of 4:30.If you are going to have a section for the refugees, maybe put a sign up instead of rudely snatching an item from a lady and telling her “that’s not for sale!”To be honest, I could go on. Do better S

I feel like this place has gone downhill over the last few years. I understand that you have a no-public bathroom policy but why on earth would any so called charity organization turn down a 6 year old girl’s plea to use your washroom? Surely some decency and common sense could arrive at some point and you could realize that this is not somebody who is going to do damage but a little person who needs some compassion. Also, why have the prices gotten so high? What used to be a thrift store now no longer seems like it. How are people supposed to afford to buy things here? From now on I will donate elsewhere where people can afford the items.

I used to enjoy thrifting here, but now the prices are absolutely unreasonably high and anything decent is placed out like its some high end boutique. Its not the only thrift shop to get on that train lately but I've stopped going here because of that reason. I frequent a lot of the thrift shops and I'd say this ones near the bottom of my favorites list.
