St. Cornelius Church

Quaint church with a small friendly welcoming congregation

Small. Beautifully austere. If there were a 100 people the place would be packed. If you're new you will be noticed and gently welcomed. From Mothers Day until Thanksgiving there is coffee and (often homemade) baked goods after services out on the front lawn overlooking the picturesque Credit River valley where parishoners actually get to know each other. There are few Catholic churches of this type left though common a century ago. My only complaint is the 8:30 mass time. Some of us are up late on Saturdays lol. I highly recommend and wish I didn't live so far away that weekly attendance is problematical.

6 generations of my family have attended this church. Lots of history, 8:30 am mass Sunday. Beautiful grounds.
