Hornet Concrete

My cement, poured last fall, cracked all over as soon as the weather got cold. Chunks came out by the foundation. Very disappointing! Brandon Vik seems to have disappeared & no wonder if all his jobs looked like this afterward.

The fact that we didn’t even use the company is where the issue starts.They did our neighbours but used (and destroyed) our land without approval for all the equipment. We didn’t allow them once on our land, nobody had asked for approval. We did however, say that the felt under the rocks can be pulled back when necessary. We did NOT approve doing burn outs in a skid steer on our driveway and rocks, tearing the felt underneath, leaving garbage behind, getting concrete on our driveway and house, the list goes on. It now looks like a disaster and when contacted, nothing gets fixed as it “wasn’t in the contract”. We didn’t have a contract as we didn’t have you do any work!Have a little more pride over your work and don’t leave a disaster behind for people to fix who you didn’t even do work for.

Had Hornet come out to do some landscape curbing around our house and shop. Matched it up to old curbing done years before. Made sure we were happy with everything before billing us which is definitely outside the norm for this area.Will recommend to friends!

Hornet concrete did a great job of adding onto my driveway, no issues and they always showed up when they said they would. Definitely recommend them.

Don't Hire Hornet Concrete in Cold Lake.Contacted this company in April, made plans for June 1st start date ( permit was available from town office for june 7th). It is now July 8th and still nothing has been started but have been informed that there will be at least a 2000$ increase on a 8000$ job. Nice scam delay job till you need it done now and raise price, delay has cost me alot of money already. Don't hire them
