Did a taste test the other day and bought croissants at all the bakeries in a 3 block radius on St. Clair. Fleur du Jour stands out, they are flaky on the outside, light, fluffy, and buttery on the inside. Definitely worth visiting.

We moved to the area 2 months ago, we tried all the cafes and croissants in the neighbourhood, this is by FAR THE BEST. Everything is baked by a French pastry chef called George. We then hosted a brunch and ordered all the croissants and desserts from him. Everyone loved them and they were the first items to go. The croissants are a must, we love his quiches too. If you want something sweet, the Belle Helene and Choco Passion are also excellent! AMAZING FOOD!!

The raspberry croissant pastries are literally the best tasting things I’ve ever put in my mouth. If I could survive on nothing else, I’d be fine with that.Their little artisanal cakes are so pretty; they’re as much fun to look at as eat.Look, just go and enjoy. This place is dope.

The pastry I had was good -flakey and the sweetness was just right. Went around 2pm almost all the pastries were gone. Had 2 flavoured pastry and 5 croissants left. (Note they close at 4:30)If you want more selection, try to go early.Oh, and they don't heat up the pastries.

These might have been the best croissants I have ever had outside of France. I went once, loved it, and brought my girlfriend to try as well! The owner was also a very kind man. I will definitely be coming back for more!!

This is an amazing hidden gem. Outstanding authentic croissants and unearthly pastries. Their raspberry tart might be the best pastry I've ever had in Canada. Coffee was very good, and their chocolate croissant was fantastic.

Edit: place is just amazing (even with caveat below). The staff are super friendly and the owner is super enthusiastic and makes you feel welcome. The pastries and croissants are just the best with so much variation. I keep coming back, and it's worth it every time.Original: If I'd review only their pastries, this would be 5 stars. Their croissants are amazing, even cold. Also loved their kouign amann, right balance of sweet, buttery and flakey. Having spent many a vacation in France, I can definitely say this place makes pastries that are just as good as the best you can find in the French countryside!!The coffee is sadly not very good. Tried it twice, and twice just not a good balance of milk, froth, and coffee. Not their main focus, but think it would help with some training in that area.I'd still highly recommend this place: the pastries make the visit totally worth it!!

Fleur du Jour is my #1 favourite bakery in Toronto! The down side is that they make such great pastries that they almost always sell out super quickly. Their croissants are buttery, flakey, and super light. The kouign amman and apple tart are my favourite here!
