Furniture 1950

I purchased a beautiful sideboard for my living room from Furniture 1950. I will do all of my future shopping here! Jason and Melissa are very knowledgeable of designers and their products, it really shows they love what they do. They are quick to respond and deliver right into your home. It was a pleasure working with Jason and Melissa. The piece is in beautiful condition, and they were able to deliver it to Ottawa. They were also more than happy to carry the heavy dresser up three flights of stairs and right into my bedroom. I would happily recommend Furniture 1950 to anyone :)

We have purchased a few teak pieces from Furniture 1950 in Oshawa. They have great style and their mid century modern furniture is always beautiful and in great condition. It is really awesome to see the furniture pieces in the proper environment in their live in studio. They offered delivery and that really saved us from renting a van. The last time I bought from them, I saw the pictures on their website and had confidence to get it delivered sight unseen. Love our teak dresser and dining table guys!

Where to start? Jason and Melissa are awesome! We found Furniture 1950's terrific website to have great pictures of their inventory of mid-century pieces. Jason and Melissa were very accommodating when it came to scheduling a time for us to come and see a dining room set we were interested-in. As well, they were very flexible when it came to delivering the dining room set and sideboard all the way downtown! We are guaranteed to be repeat customers!!

We bought a table and a set of chairs that we are happy to say are even more beautiful in person than in the original photos. I'm sure we will have this set for many many years to come. Melissa and Jason are very lovely people and easy to communicate/coordinate with! They delivered the pieces right to our apartment and gave us some helpful tips on maintaining it. We would absolutely recommend!

Amazing customer service from beginning to end. Melissa and Jason were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The furniture was just as pictured on the website. Delivery and set up was easy: they arrived on time, brought everything into the house, and answered all our questions. They love what they do and it shows!

On offer was an excellent selection of beautifully restored mid-century wood furniture. What wasn't expected from Jason and Melissa was the the high degree of friendliness and patience in showing all their pieces and willingness to share their vast knowledge... even when we had questions afterwards. We didn't only get ourselves a great piece of furniture at an excellent price but we had an awesome experience as well.

Like the other reviewers here, we just had an excellent experience buying a dresser and credenza from Furniture 1950. Melissa and Jason are very nice people who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase. We visited their live-in studio and the online pictures are definitely true to life - the pieces are well curated, in great condition, and all beautifully restored. Love the delivery option as well. Highly recommended!

Nothing but great things to say about the products and service. Melissa and Jason were extremely accommodating with our desire to see the pieces and with only a couple of days' notice. All of the pieces they had collected and restored were beautiful and well-priced. We purchased more than we planned to cart home to Toronto, so they graciously offered to deliver it to us SAME DAY! Our home was instantly transformed. I would highly recommend Furniture 1950 to anyone looking for unique mid-century modern pieces in great condition at a fair price. Thank you!
