Haven’t had hot water consistently in my building for over two weeks. No response when I inquire, no response from the building caretaker except “plumber couldn’t fix it yet”, responding at their leisure sometimes days later. incorrect email address for Darren Earle (Strata Residential Manager according to the information I was given), immediately bounces back. Darren’s phone has gone directly to voicemail the past couple days, and he has not responded to me over text. Building caretaker refuses to answer when I ask who is contracted for this project. Huge failure as a property management company to allow residents to go without adequate hot water for over two weeks.

Obsidian has been managing our strata property for the past 3 years. They are generally very good managers but whenever there have been problems, company ownership has been readily available and responsive to resident needs.As a long standing member of the council, I have worked with 3 different management companies and interviewed several more. Obsidian has provided great advice on complex issues, our managers have been very pleasant to deal with and the owner regularly follows up to make sure we are happy with their service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for strata management.

takes days to respond to emails, then passes it off. Owner doesn't care about the homeowners but his bottom line. totally unprofessional.. You can read the reviews below and how Sean responds to negativity. Instead of improving his business, he takes it out on people that are not satisfied with the work that his company is providing

Obsidian is top notch! Customer service is superior and management has always responded to any inquiries quickly. I would totally recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a strata management company that is professional, on top of things and truly believes in providing exceptional customer service. Keep up the great work!

If zero can be given, that's what these Teletubbies deserve... Please do more than bare minimum

Been dealing with a water leak for over 6 months now due to the common drains being backed up and strata not doing regular maintenance on them. Iv been calling and emailing strata everyday and no one will get back to me regarding when the fixes will be completed. If this leak was a owners responsibility we would of have 48 hours to get it fixed or we would of been fined since this is a strata issue I guess they think it's okay to let it go on for over 6 months.... Very unorganized company with poor communication!!! I have worked with other strata companies in the past and this one is by far the worst one!!!

As a council member tor Tall Timbers, I am so pleased that we have a new strata manager, Shara Nixon, she is on top of everything, awesome to deal with, quick to respond to e-mails, her professionalism is so much appreciated. Irena

HORRIBLE service. I have been simply trying to get updated Fobs for close to 3 weeks. Not only had they lost my k form and didn’t know who I was but every time I email I get told they have to talk to a council member in my building to arrange this. This is something so simple and should take almost a month to sort out. Due to the lack of professionalism and organization I will be looking to put in a formal complaint once I FINALLY get a new fob.After getting a response from their manager it is clear why they have a 2.5 rating. I have never had a manager respond with facts that are just not true.

they work as proxy for a big developers, they pushing people who live on an older property but on attractive locations. if you give them busses to maintain your property, they will try to push you to sell it to their investors. bad to the bone
