We are so grateful for all that Karlie has done for us! She not only helped us with our son’s tongue/lip tie diagnosis and release recovery, but she was like an emotional support as we navigated feeding and weight gain challenges. Karlie is a wealth of knowledge and I don’t know where we would be in our son’s journey without her! Thank you Karlie!

I cannot say enough good things about Karlie, she completely changed and saved my breastfeeding experience! My daughter was referred by an LC to Karlie at 2 months old due to many feeding challenges and she helped immensely with her lip and tongue tie diagnosis. Karlie is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, so good at what she does, and she was very caring and kind while working with my daughter. Karlie guided us through exercises to prepare for a tongue and lip tie release and saw us after as well post-release.I wish that I had the knowledge I do now thanks to Karlie prior to starting breastfeeding. I would 100% recommend Karlie, she is the best of the best!

After 3 months of challenges with breast feeding and bottle feeding we were referred to Karlie after our daughter had a tongue tie removed. Our daughter would not actively pull milk out when breast feeding or barely actively suck while bottle feeding. Karlie in the first assessment was able to pinpoint what was happening with our daughter and why she was throwing up so much after feeding. She was able to lay out a plan and work with us to improve our daughters ability to feed. After about 2 months of working with her my daughters feeding had improved so much it was like we had never had any challenges at all. What I really appreciated about Karlie is that she is knowledgeable in her area and refers to evidence based practices. She was able to covey this information really well to us and support us as our daughters tongue and feeding function improved. Would highly recommend seeing her for any type of SLP needs!

My newborn daughter was suffering from severe reflux and I was listening to her scream and choke pretty much all day for weeks and a Dr prescribed meds but I did not feel heard regarding her lack of weight gain and pain. A nurse gave me Karlie’s information. Karlie listened to my concerns and immediately said that she needed multiple oral ties released. She didn’t push the procedure on us, told us our options, and gave us stretches. We optimized what we could while waiting for the date of the procedure. Karlie was super understanding and calmed my anxiety when we were struggling with feeding both before and in the week to follow the procedure. My daughter is no longer in pain and gaining weight. I’m so grateful to have worked with Karlie

We were referred to Karlie by a LC when my son had issues with breastfeeding. Through her expertise she identified a lip and tongue tie. She provided recommendations about who was the best to see for the release and helped us quickly get into Dr. Bachiu for the procedure. She worked closely with us following the release. I cannot say enough good things about the support and expertise she provided. She had the confidence that we would see improvement even when things felt hopeless to me, and she was right! My son was able to exclusively breastfeed as a result of working with her. She’s amazing at what she does and I’m so grateful we found her!!!

I was referred to Karlie by a coworker of mine to help us with breastfeeding/latch issues following my sons recent tongue tie release. Karlie was so supportive, knowledgeable and provided us with all the tools/expertise we needed to meet our goal of primarily breast feeding. I can honestly say that without Karlie's help and support we would have not persevered like we did. I can’t say enough good things about our experience, my baby had a lip and tongue tie and was not latching , I was super stressed and after we saw Karlie she literally saved us and changed our breastfeeding journey. She is so understanding and knowledgeable about her field , and she knew exactly what the issues were and how to fix them. Now my little one is feeding like a champ and we have no issues! (Even after one appointment we were doing so much better) What a confidence boost. My husband also felt supported during our appointment and like he was part of the team! I highly recommend her and she is someone we will go back to if needed in the future , she set us up for a great feeding plan that is not stressful! :)

I am forever thankful for Karlie and her expertise in oral function. My breastfeeding journey with my twins was saved. After an emergency revision for one twin around 10 weeks (she could barely use a bottle never mind breastfeeding) and another revision for my son at 4 months, we followed all of the recommendations and I’m incredibly happy to say that we are still breastfeeding after 13 months. What a beautiful journey it’s been! I wouldn’t be here without Karlie. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. Your skills have been an impactful gift that will carry my children through the rest of their lives.

Our daughter had a lip tie cut at 5 weeks and during the appointment the dentist noted concerns of oral dysfunction that could require a tongue tie release. This resulted in a whole new journey and not going to lie, the whole experience was new to me and there were parts of it that I was a bit skeptical about… However after meeting with Karlie, I felt a lot more educated and confident in what we were doing. Karlie showed us several exercises and almost immediately I started to see improvements in tongue strength/exploration. Even reflux and feeding habits improved. I am very happy and grateful to say that after a few weeks of exercises, oral dysfunction has improved significantly and no tongue release required! Thanks Karlie for helping my daughter (and me) through this process and getting us on our best path forward!

Karlie was AMAZING to work with. After just reaching out to her via email she recognized the urgency of my son's feeding issues and was quick to respond and get us in to consult with her. She is extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide me with exercises, connections with dentists, chiropractors and physiotherapists, and lists of items that would best support my child's oral development.Karlie is also very understanding that what's discussed in appointments can be a lot to take in and provides you with a follow-up email after every appointment with what was discussed and her recommendations for what to do next. She is also always quick to respond via email if you have any questions that you may have about the treatment plan.I am so grateful for Karlie's thanks to her my son went from experiencing severe oral dysfunction due to tongue and lip ties, to feeding like a pro in only 6 weeks!Thanks again Karlie!
