My geothermal unit had issues as it was about twenty-five years old and neglected. I called Emke Schaub, They came out and said my unit would have to be replaced. I was given three different options and three price quotes. I selected to stay with geothermal because of climate change. They installed the new unit works wonderful. Great heat in winter and beautifully cool in the summer. These are true professionals.

Kim from emke schaab always helps me out. I have used them many times for many years. 24-7 help you know your always taking care of at anytime ,anyday of the week.

Multiple calls, misleading and failed to follow up.Our furnace died Sunday. I called Emke Monday am, they said a technician would call me ... they didn't. Called back Mon pm, they said I'd get a call tomorrow or they could come at night for $300/hr.A tech. called an hour later who was great (hence 2 stars) but he was far away and couldn't come until 7 p.m. ... so he said he would get the Hanover shop" to contact me.Next day

We had this company out to give us a second opinion quote on a boiler system. I was told by the technician I would have the quote by Tuesday and that it would be emailed to me. It was a Friday afternoon so I was willing to wait. Tuesday comes around and no quote. I call to see what is going on and they tell me the man who does the quotes is on holidays and won't be back for a week or more. That the technician wouldnt have known this information. I say you only have one person who does your quotes?" The reply was "for commercial quotes yes". Keep in mind we have already been out of hot water for over a week. They tell me they will try to get the quote to us as soon as possible. I wait another week. Long after the man was to have returned from his holidays I call again. The woman on the phone says "oh ya

After a not so great experience with a different company we called Emke to see if they could help fix our AC unit.Emke staff is wonderful. The receptionist is pleasant and accommodating.The service guy Kyle was amazing. He came gave us our options and walked us through what needed to be done step by step. He gave prices of what things would cost before doing them and reasons why they needed to be done.At the end he again walked us through the invoice and explained everything.The end result was we got our AC unit repaired instead of having to get a new one. Which was not an option from the other place. It was a fraction of the cost but most importantly it was done by someone who really seems to care about the client and the service he is providing. Can’t put a price on that. Thanks so much for your services Emke!

This review is a little delayed; however, I feel I need to post it to help others avoid the mistake we made in enlisting their services. What an unprofessional company! What a horrific experience we have had with this company! We have a geothermal system. The heat worked perfectly, however, the cooling system worked intermittently. We had three different technicians try to fix it, each with a different diagnosis. One technician ordered a $600 part...the next technician said it was unnecessary and that we needed more coolant. The last technician applied so much pressure to the system that he damaged it completely. He said we would need a whole new system and the next emails that we received from the company were quotes for a $20,000 heat pump .We were in a state of shock not knowing what to do. We also had them quote on replacing the heat exchanger. core. We called the owner to appeal to him for help in rectifying the problem they created when they damaged our system. He promised to come by the next day However in the morning there was a message on my husband’s phone. He said after speaking to his daughter, Kim, he was not coming and that he expected that we would be paying for all of these visits. We received A bill for over $600… Nothing was itemized… And there was a stamped threat that if we did not pay they would put a black mark on our credit report.We called another company in Owen Sound who also deal with geothermal systems They were there within two days. They diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts and had it installed within a week. Their price was almost 50% of the price that Emke Schaab had quoted us! We will never deal with Emke Schaab Climate Care again and we let everyone know about the experience we have had. From other reviews I have read I can see we are not alone... I wish we had never dealt with them we would still have $3000 in our pocket that we didn’t have to spend ! Now I see they have changed their business name....You can change your name but NOT your reputation!

Ordered a part for our furnace 3 months ago still not here and noone has ever reached out to us. Got another company in they had the part in 3 days and fixed, would not recommend this company!!!!

Over the last few months, I’ve had a hot water heater replacement (with a tankless, works great highly recommend!) and had my natural gas heater installed in my garage…turnaround time was good (even though they were very busy), pricing was fair and the guys did an excellent, professional installation job on both. Toasty while working in the garage and lots of hot water to clean up when I’m done! Recommend.

We had 16 units to install heat pumps into and Montgomery's did an excellent job... their customer service was amazing, they really went above and beyond to meet our needs and the needs of the tenants.
