I am an extremely frugal person, you know how difficult it was for me to throw out a 9 dollar ice cream cone after 1 Bite ? Your maple walnut flavored ice cream is disgusting to say the least. It was extremely grainy as If you mixed sugar or sand into the maple walnut ice cream and forgot to stir. There are simple things your management team could do to avoid this from ever happening. Simply do a taste test before you sell your garbage flavored ice cream to the public. Thank you for your time.

The ice cream is really bad and expensive there (regular size for 8CAD). My friend and I tried echt two flavors and were very disappointed. They all tasted more like sweet milk than the flavor they represented. On top the maple-walnut flavor felt like eating sand, it was crystallized in a very unpleasant way and I didn’t even finish it (what never happened with me and ice cream before!). You guys really need to work on the ice cream… The man, who served us, was really nice though.

I love the open concept. Being able to see how they make their chocolate and sweet delights is both entertaining and reassuring! There are so many delectable scrumptious treats here. The staff are wonderful. This is a classic tradition and a MUST visit on your trip to Ottawa and/or the Byward Market. #localguide

Had the toffee ice cream and it was so gritty!! It tasted like I was eating sand. I could of bought better ice cream across the road at McDonald’s.Please revise and taste all the ice cream before serving customers for the day!! Maybe the ice cream was old and had freezer burn ice crystals. It was not fresh that’s for sure. I really want my money back. Was definitely not worth $10

The chocolate maybe good but the ice cream (tiramisu flavor) had a brittle and coarse texture with ice crystals in it for an almost $10 ice cream. The server was kind and nice though.

Ice cream was soso and we order tree ice creams, we received two, the girl said she didn’t charge the third one when we pay 30$ and when i said i will pay again for the third one, she said she didn’t had time anymore as she was taking care of another order. Very bad customer service and really too expensive.

Very nice items but pricey. Plain candy apples should not be $7.00 especially if the coating is a thing layer of candy. I’ve been to many carnivals where they charge far less 2 for $5.00 or sometimes just $5.00 but you gotta work that apple! Also the employees could be kinder.
