I love their Lamb Biryani. Rice is cooked just right with good texture, good flavour and spice level and the lamb chunks had the perfect mix of protein and fat. The chilli chicken and butter chicken were great too.

The best Indian restaurant in the city for me. I highly recommend the Lamb Biryani with Butter Chicken on the side. Delicious, fresh, tender, and authentic! You'll be thinking of coming back while you're still eating. The great service and friendly vibes are also a definite plus.

Just like home made food!I really enjoy eating Thali here. It's hard to beat at that price, quantity and quality of food in Downtown Toronto.I like the Bengan curry, Egg curry and dal.I don't like the Paneer curry because it's full of mutter and very few Paneer pieces.

Haven't been downtown in some time. Had no plans of eating lunch until I smelled the amazing aromatic scent in the crisp cool air. So I followed my nose and how glad was I. First he is a one man show that just moves around cooking and serving. Yes there was a line up....but it was worth it. It was what I needed and it was great value. I have been shocked with the cost of food but this little place was cost effective and generous with its portions. I ordered the Biryani with Butter chicken and I loved. It is a small spot and I suspect he has line up all the time but I understand why and it realy worth the wait!!!

Authentic and dishes made from fresh ingredients. This is one of the best Indian cuisines in the Young & Bloor area. The restaurant is nice, intimate and perfectly located on a quiet street. There are plenty of Vegetarian and Vegan dishes. The nan bread fresh & delicious. The service is exceptional by Sarkararaz Khan. He pays attention to your needs is kind and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for great food & great service.

For the location, their prices are reasonable.Fairly quick service and the lamb biryani was tasty.But the man taking orders and cashiering needs to look professional. He was shoddily dressed, it would repel customers.I paid with cash, but he did not give me the receipt.I asked about the options of buying chicken and lamb with rice. He kept pointing - only this (lamb biryani). Perhaps he doesn't understand much English.Well, I might still go there again. The food tastes good. Hygiene, I would rate moderate.

I had the most awful experience after going to this place for dinner.The food taste was below average at best, and to top it off, the person at the counter is always hurrying to take away the plates even before you are finished!!! Then he brings the payment device to take money when you are eating!!! I have never seen such weird behaviors in any restaurant.The person at the counter was quite strange.Avoid this place.

Located near Yonge and Bloor. Never judge a restaurant by its cover! The food is excellent. Fresh, delightful, aromatic and flavourful. We had the company of Khan - very helpful and kind host. Service was impeccable! Food was very affordable. I definitely would visit here again. Nice to learn of this hidden Indian gem in downtown.
