Taking my 17 year old sister shopping for a prom dress. We found one she wanted to try on and the lady said no because it wasn’t her size and wouldn’t fit, so she grabbed it away from us. Not sure why she thought it was okay but I will NOT be returning to this location, if they think it’s okay to treat customers this way.Update: reading the review under “Nicole G” I can see this is the same lady. This has happened before. How does she still have a job!!

The single worst experience ever! Went in to browse and was hounded by what turned out to be the manager. She would not leave me alone and after 15 minutes i felt i was being racially profiled. After 15 minutes I had to ask her to actually socially distance before i asked her name and for the manager. Was shocked that she claimed to be the manager. Will not be shopping there again. very disappointing and disturbing

A 5 star rating was my experience after being in the store several times. I had 3 different people assist me on different days & all of them were exceptionally helpful, friendly, attentive making valuable suggestions without being pushy. This is one of the few stores at the mall that women over 40 can look for age appropriate clothing. Thank you

Was shopping here this past Friday with my mum trying to find a dress. Mom had already been there for a bit trying stuff on, and the middle age, older blond British woman in the jumpsuit was making her feel super unwelcome. Told her “we don’t carry plus size” and it took me under a minute to find quite a few dresses that were over size 14 and were labelled as “plus”. She kept ignoring what my mom said she wanted, and kept trying to force her into stuff that wasn’t the correct size. Telling her that these god awful dresses were the only thing that was going to fit her, and when I found stuff for my mom, she kept criticizing them saying it wouldn’t fit her and would look good as if I don’t know what size she wears after shopping with her for my whole life. She was being very rude and invasive, and when I went looking for jewellery to go with the dress that I found for my mom after the woman told her it wouldn’t work (and surprise - it did), she grabbed the dress out of my hands without asking me, told me “I’m taking this to start the transaction” and when I said I was looking at accessories she said “you won’t find anything over here, nothing will look good” and dragged me over to the other side of the area where she kept touching me and trying to take stuff out of my hands when I suggested it or saying “no, not that, it will look so ugly”. By the time my mom left, both of us were in such a bad mood and this woman is the reason why. She was rude, arrogant, and treated us like we were stupid or like we didn’t deserve to shop in the store because we’re plus size.I hardly ever give 1 star reviews unless I feel like they actually deserve it, and I truly feel this store does.

The clothes are nice. One of the store employees was very rude. (curly greyish hair and dark skin) Maybe she thought she was funny? I did not appreciate her asking me: What do you need Shorty?" Yes

The woman who followed my friends and i around the store on Friday February 1st was extremely rude. She explained to us that there are very few dresses larger than a size eight

Staff were lovely but apparently buyers don't think chubby girls/women go to prom. Dresses should be available for ALL body types. Otherwise they have a good selection in sizing just not for pretty, fancy dresses

What an amazing experience i encountered at the Laura store at Stone Rd mall recently. From the moment I walked into the store I felt that I was a valued client. The store manager was so attentive to my needs and was so helpful assisting me with finding that special outfit. I would also like to point out that they have amazing covid 19 safety measures in place and never once did I feel uncomfortable. Great job and thank you again for your amazing service, I will definitely be back!

Purchased a beautiful camel wool coat. The assistant, Michele H. was extremely helpful. Excellent clothing quality and selection with no pressure shopping. Store is well laid out and classic. Definitely a return customer next time I visit Stone Road Mall.
