Great French bar in the Plateau. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed, and the waitresses are extremely nice.Great beer and wine selection, and it looks like they make a very good cocktail too.Uniquely different from anglophone bars.$10 for Cheval Blanc is a bit steep.

Walked in late and stayed till 3:30. The bartender kept offering shots of Calvados. At the end of the night I find he charged us for them. The bill may have been inflated as I questioned the next day how two people consumed 7 doubles each of Scotch and periodic shots of brandy in two hours. Maybe we did as my right kidney still hurts three days later(see Doctor)and the hangover unfortunately will be memorable. I guess that's why we got to hold the trophy .

Spacious, well-designed bar with huge wooden beams and a three storey ceiling. Nice selection of cocktails, beers and wines. Friendly quick service. A Zoltar fortune-telling machine and a baby grand piano add to the fun.

Super nice place. The music isn’t too loud, so it helps to socialize and talk with friends. They have a very big variety of European beers and the place is awesome to go and listen to a football match like the Euro or FIFA. The only thing that I find inconvenient, is that it’s more expensive compared to other European themed bars in the city.

This is one of my favorite pubs in Montreal. It has mostly french clientele. They play all the football and rugby cups on their screens.

Nice place for a beer. We mentioned that we had just hiked Mt. Royal and the bartender kindly brought out water right away. Lots of beers on tap
