My friend is a client for a divorce case. She got an email saying the lawyer (Patricia).no longer works there. My friend called to get more.information about this and the receptionist was incredibly rude and condescending. She said my they can continue to represent her at double the lawyers cost. My friend asked basic questions (ie is the money I've spent gone since we would be starting over with a new lawyer.. can he honor the same fee we had agreed upon etc). The receptionist talked down to her (making her cry). She said she doesn't have the files but then got defensive when asked questions.My friend is taking what remains of her retainer and going somewhere else. This has shady written all over it. At the very least it's a bait and switch. The lady at the front desk should be fired. The previous lady was nice but she recently left.Seems like a terrible place to work.My friend is owed an apology!!!
