This is such a hidden gem. The Oakwood Hardware is easily one of the best restaurants in all of Toronto, and I would even say in all of Canada. The ambiance, service, food, and total experience are simply amazing.

Just had one of the best burgers I've ever had in this city. Grab that OH burger and soak up this cozy, incredible place. Seriously, it's the highlight of the whole neighbourhood for me!Friendly staff, great burger, absolutely coming back!

Love the atmosphere and great music choices. I really appreciate that it wasn’t super loud as I find many restaurants have me yelling my conversation. Food was good (halloumi was yum) and staff were friendly. Will definitely be back!

Great neighborhood restaurant—very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The beet salad and trout main were delicious. I’ve also tried their weekend brunch waffles and egg benedicts. Blackberry coconut dessert special was heavenly.

It pains me to give only three stars but I really can't justify more. I went with friends during winterlicious and we were there at 6 for dinner and when we arrived they communicated that they couldn't offer most of the winterlicious menu? We managed to piece together some meals but due to my dietary restrictions I spend a lot of time reviewing the restaurant menus on the winterlicious site to find places I could be easily accommodated at without having to request modification and thus it was really inconvenient to arrive there and not have them as an option. They had a few choices on their winterlicious menus that I could have made work, but unfortunately their regular menu doesn't have a lot to offer me and the chef wasn't very accommodating so it was a big disappointment all around.

Great patio atmosphere with extra heaters for the chilly spring evenings. Due to COVID-19 they have to close early but they are very gracious and polite to warn you when the time comes near. I recommend the brisket taco! It was divine!!

I organized to host a baby shower at The Oakwood Hardware and Anne and her staff were all very accommodating, helpful and so kind. The food even went with our theme and she was so flexible with our budget. The staff and manager were so great on the day and all our guests had an amazing time!

We came here for brunch with a couple of friends. Our reservation was at 10 AM and were the very first customer of the day. We ordered the omelette special of the day and the sausage biscuit. The former was delicious while the latter was decent. The frites were well done. We were a tad disappointed with the coffee refills. We were not informed that the refills were an additional.charge.

Cool vibe, super friendly staff, great food. Every item on the meze board was high-quality and went well together. The KFC" fried chicken uses perfectly juicy and crispy boneless thigh meat
