For a number of years, we've engaged Andrew and his team for tree pruning. Recently, we made the reluctant decision to have a very large Manitoba Maple removed, as it was impinging on a retaining wall. Despite our very tight downtown location, utility cables passing through the tree, and no room to bring in a crane to assist, Andrew's team successfully tackled the job, and afterwards cleaned the site immaculately. We have no hesitation recommending Family Tree PHC.

We had Andrew come and prune and trim the two large maples on our property. He did a fantastic job. Not only do the trees look great, he left the yard cleaner than he found it and he explained why he cut the parts that he did. Not only beautiful healthy yes, but some knowledge to help keep them that way in the years to come. Will definitely be calling Andrew again in the future.

I hired Andrew and Sarah to prune and raise the canopies of 5 white spruces, prune a large maple tree and pull out 2 cedar shrubs. Andrew met with me first to see what needed to be done and to give an estimate on the work that had to be done. He was incredibly knowledgeable, offered great advice on how to care for my trees and provided me with a very reasonable quote for the work to be done.My appointment was quickly booked and both Andrew and Sarah did an amazing job; my yard looks wonderful. They were even kind enough to give one of my neighbours some mulch when he came asking for some! It's also important to note that they were very tidy. My property was well groomed and my driveway, walkway and the street in front of my house were well cleaned. All and all a great experience and I highly recommend their services.

Family Tree PHC is our go-to company to care for our 4 city trees, which include fruit trees and two 4-storey, 50 year-old maples. They are very selective and skilled with pruning, and tidy and careful with our property. Over the Last 6 years, they have done an exceptional job salvaging our largest tree, installing bracing and corrective pruning to balance it and let it grow on. Friendly, tidy, professional and their prices are also very good!

We have a large yard with five pines, three maples and an oak tree. All trees are 60 to 70 feet tall and 60 to 70 years old. Andrew and his crew have been taking care of them periodically over the last 5 years, but this year the ice storm inflicted significant damage on the pines and maples. Andrew's crew showed up quickly, trimmed all of the broken branches, cleaned up all of the debris and as always gave great advice on the best approach to help our trees thrive.It's often under appreciated the level of knowledge, effort and dedication it takes to maintain and keep old trees in good condition.
