He did great with both large and small groups, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were able to get a great mix of artsy" shots as well as some classic photos. We highly recommend Darcy Preece as a wedding photographer. Darcy and Jackie are personal and professional and very reasonably priced. We had a morning ceremony with a brunch reception and only left 45 minutes for the post wedding photographs of the bridal party, our families, and us as husband and wife. We had a small child in our wedding party and a dog too, which made it complicated. Darcy and Jackie nailed it!! The photos were amazing. He was so efficient and skilled. We were very impressed with Darcy and Jackie! Book them! They do not disappoint.

My husband and I used Darcy Preece Photography for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! Darcy and his wife Jackie were so much fun to work with. They were easy going and seemed to compliment each other on photo styles to get just the right angle. The first time I met Darcy was at my first Bridal show in October of 2017. From the moment I started talking to him about his passion for photography I knew that he would be our wedding photographer. He was amazing. Great communication and just easy to have a conversation with. Our engagement pictures made us both 100% sure that we had made the best choice. He made my husband so comfortable with taking pictures which is hard to do. Both Darcy and Jackie were amazing on the day of our wedding. They made a stressful day a breeze by being calm and relaxed and went to the pace of what was going on. Photos turned out amazing I cannot stop looking at them! I cannot wait to hopefully work with them again in the future.

Darcy and Jackie are a fantastic team! From our engagement photos to our wedding day, they were personable, creative and a lot of fun to be around! Darcy and his wife did our engagement photos (with a large horse in a field) and wedding photos (at my parent's acreage) and they were both fantastic. Darcy is a very kind, funny photographer and he made us feel comfortable even with a large horse standing over us potentially ready to trample us. We enjoyed their company, their flawless execution on the day of and their adaptability. In the end we had hundreds of wonderful photos that captured special moments, our dogs, our family, my wish to have photos among the trees and so unique angles that turned into works of art. I want to start by saying thank you to Darcy for the fun we had while taking our wedding photos. Every picture made both my husband and I look great. The pictures all look really professional and Darcy really knows his way around Hastings Lake Gardens. I would highly recommend him. He has great ideas and was interested in our ideas as well.
