Travelway Inn Sudbury

Loved the garden in the front! It gives this hotel a welcoming entrance. The room was clean. The service was friendly and efficient. We loved the location across the road from Science North. We walked there in a few minutes.

The rooms are spacious and quiet, clean and beds comfy. Parking is convenient. The continental breakfast is very very basic (definitely not as good as other places that provide a hot continental breakfast!) so we went elsewhere for the other days of our trip. Wifi was terribly slow (nearly unusable) for both of our rooms for the full duration of our stay, with all devices that we tried. Needs improvement!!!

Warning to all who stay at this hotel. Do not leave any personal belongings, jewelry, or cash in a room unattended, as it may be stolen by the time you get back.Cash was stolen from my wallet. My family and I had booked two rooms for about a week by the time of the incident. I last saw my $100 bill in my wallet located in my room on Friday evening. However, when we were checking out on Sunday afternoon, the bill was missing. My wallet had never left the room between Friday and Sunday, and doors were locked at all times. This could only mean a housekeeper or staff member must have went through my belongings while we were gone. I reported it to the assistant manager, who shrugged it off like it was not their fault. They refused to open up an investigation, as they said they have never experienced an issue such as this with their staff before. It has now been 4 days with no action taken. The stingy staff member continues to work there.

Rooms are small, but cozy. Reasonably clean. Because it’s the preferred hotel for the hospital though, it’s jam packed with sick people and their families. If I could give negative stars for their internet connectivity I would. Do not stay here and think that you’re going to be able to work remotely or even stream YouTube without constant interruptions.

Room was very clean. Crisp and clean linen. Convenient to the hospital.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful, but I could hear traffic, sirens, and helicopters all night long from the hospital. Also, there were little things like my clock was 10 minutes slow or my friends room's curtains were broken so they couldn't close them. And the water kept going off all day and night. Overall the worst sleep I've had recently. Would not stay again. Also would not recommend the breakfast of stale products and cold eggs. Staff deserve a 5 star though!

Great people go above and beyond. Thank you for your extra service. Made a stressful day so much better.

Directly across from the cancer centerA little bit more expensive than the travel Lodge up the street where the Perkins restaurant is (which has the best breakfast selection I've ever seen)But it's 30 seconds on foot from the hospital.Clean, quiet, professional
