What a great session! Yves is so patient and breaks down each and every step into bite size pieces making it very easy to learn and achieve results right away. I even learned things about my camera I never knew! I highly recommend any of his workshops. You will walk away a better photographer guaranteed.

I've taken quite a few photography classes and this is one of the best. Yves is very generous sharing his knowledge and the small class size means he has time to spend with each and every person. Yves wants you to succeed but he also wants to make sure that you fully understand the concepts he is sharing. I wouldn't hesitate to take another course with Yves.

I took the Intro Beginners photography course with Yves. As the course outlines, we learnt all the various modes to take beautiful photos that he set us up to be able to practice and go onto the next level. Yves went above this expectation and provided me with more details on how to achieve my personal goals and sought how to achieve that with my own model of camera. A day with Yves was like meeting an old friend for coffee and having fun learning. Easy to talk to and an interesting man to listen to. And as the course states. I met two new photography friends! Thank you Yves for a wonderful day, I will certainly take another workshop when I’ve practiced more and recommend him to anyone wishing to learn more about photography. He knows his art!

I took a long exposure workshop with Yves, and am extremely pleased with the skills that I learned that day. I really appreciated the time spent explaining the “how’s and whys” of different settings, and really putting them to use, so they were easily familiar to use for future shooting.The small class size was ideal for getting that instruction time, and our class of novice to very advanced, was all treated with the same respect.I had met Yves years ago at a class of a dozen students, and an instructor that just bragged about his achievements, and basically told you the settings to use, and would hardly be seen again. We were both very disappointed in the experience, and I can see that Yves has made it a mission to not only give you his time, but also share as much knowledge as you can process.From my experience, I would highly recommend investing in a workshop of interest. Yves passion and talents for photography, his desire to educate, and his easy going personality would be an experience well worth the value.

I really enjoyed my day.Every phase of the process was great - Yves is a talented teacher - he has put a lot of thought into the timing of the day and the material the workshop covers.The locations offered lots of options to explore different compositions and aesthetics and Yves was full of helpful tips and ideas to support making great images.If you are looking for a photography course with a great teacher who genuinely cares about your progress, look no further, highly recommend!

I attended the Photography and Pints workshop that Yves hosted and it was fantastic! Yves is extremely knowledgeable and so willing to share his knowledge. I learned so much from this workshop and hope to take some others in the future! I took the introduction to photography workshop. I would highly recommend Yves workshops. The workshops are small in numbers to ensure your gaining the knowledge you set out to attain. He is prepared, organized and very thorough. He asked me the reason why I signed up and then provided additional resources to keep me learning and moving along the right path. Yves went over and above to ensure we left his workshop feeling knowledgeable and confident. I will register for another workshop in the near future.

I took a Basic Cours for photography with Yves and it was very helpful. He explained the difference between the camera lenses I have and how to adjust my camera setting to get the image I desire. After the explanation we practice for two hours and he gave me feedback on each picture to help me fix my mistakes. I really enjoyed the class and I would definitely take more classes with him.

I attended Yvess Long Exposure workshop and I was impressed how Yves was able to provide an enjoyable and very informative learning experience given somewhat less than desirable weather conditions

Yves is a wonderful teacher! He is knowledgeable and patient. Small classes and the one-on-one attention is so helpful and being outdoors makes for some great hands-on experience. I highly recommend the beginner's course!
