This LRT bridge has a walkway underneath it and it is very nice. I remember when this bridge was being built and was excited that there was a walkway underneath for getting from downtown Edmonton to the south side at a lower elevation than the high level bridge. The south side exit leads right into Emily Murphy Park and Kinsmen Rec Centre.

It's a bridge. Great surface to run, walk or bike across the river. Connects government Centre to Kinsmen and university of Alberta.

Dudley B Menzies Bridge
Opened in 1992, the Dudley B Menzies bridge served as the cross-river link to University terminus for the LRT Capital Line. Today it is part of the Capital and Metro lines connecting downtown to southwest Edmonton. Below the rail deck is the hanging pedestrian foot and bike bridge. At busy times such as Canada Day, the pedestrian bridge sways by the vibration of all the people coming across. Great connection from the Kinsmen overflow parking lot to the Royal Glenora club and Fortway Road leading up to the back of the Alberta Legislature grounds.

Great View of the North Saskatchewan River! Quiter Walkway and your also able to see the High Level Bridge and at the end is the back of Kinsman Park.
