The Clay Warehouse
I've now taken three courses at The Clay Warehouse. Scott and Courtney have made a wonderful community space that is zero judgement, filled with people who want to learn and knowledgeable teachers. I started with almost no experience on a wheel, but I now attend weekly open studios and I'm producing my own functional pottery! To say that The Clay Warehouse is my happy place would be an understatement. I cautiously recommend their Wheel Throwing 101 course---you may just find a new obsession.

What an amazing experience and amazing place! And amazing folks running it! I can't say enough good things about the Clay Warehouse. this was my first wheel throwing class and Courtney was wonderful- a thorough, patient and encouraging teacher. I just wish this place was closer to Vancouver as it took me so long to get to Port Coquitlam and back. I would be there all the time if it was closer.A tremendous asset to the ceramics community, the Clay Warehouse is beyond excellent.

Taking a wheel throwing class has been on my bucket list forever. When I head about The Clay Warehouse from colleagues, I knew now was my time. Bonus was that it’s seven minutes from my house.I just finished CW 101 Beginners Wheel Throwing and it was a truly amazing experience. Between the amazing instructor Brooke and the fast friendships built in class, I will definitely be a lifer here!I just signed up for the hand building and yoga class and can’t wait for that!

Okay so... I've taken quite a few pottery classes from a few different places, and The Clay Warehouse is the best BY FAR. They make pottery fun, they make it accessible, and they've created an amazing community hub for potters of all different skill levels. I've taken 101 and 102, and plan to take the 102 again to really solidify my skills. I'm also super happy to see their expanding their course offerings to things like underglaze techniques!

The workshops they offer are fantastic, catering to artists of all skill levels. From the warm staff to the vibrant atmosphere, Clay Warehouse is a haven for creativity. Highly recommended!

The Clay Warehouse is such a welcoming place. I was surprised how much I learned through the courses offered. The instructors are so knowledgeable! Everyone there (staff and fellow potters) is kind, supportive and encouraging. A great environment to learn and grow!

I registered for both courses Clay Wheel Throwing101 and 102. It was a great experience. Both instructors were very patient and knowledgeable. As a beginner, these courses gave me the confidence to do it on my own. I would highly recommend these courses to anyone who have no experience and have always been curious about wheel throwing.

The Clay Warehouse is my new favourite place to shop for clay supplies! I first found them as a recommendation on an FB clay page, more specifically their free instructions for making a bucket clay trap. Says a lot about the kind of person who’s behind a business when they make such an awesome design freely available to all! My recent (first) order from Clay Warehouse came quickly, was packaged nicely, and included a free little pottery journal and some amazing stickers, how fun! I just can’t wait until I get the chance to visit in person some day.
