I like the teachers from JK and SK specially Ms.Mckay and Mrs.Maloku.They gave their best both in class and online classes, My son always excited to do his lessons because he had best teachers who helps to nurtured him physically and mentally. Now,He's ready for grade1.Thanks second street.

i went here years ago from grade 6 to grade 8. there were times where students were problematic and bullying here and there, but i can say all of the staff are amazing. whenever something happened, they took they’re jobs seriously. overall though, i made some positive memories here.

Principle and staff go out of their way to make life difficult for children of minority backgrounds. The staff is lacking the enthusiasm needed to educate the next generation. The current principle lacks empathy and overall understanding for the needs and challenges faced by his students of colour.

With a small black population, my son was allowed to fall to a D grade and the French Immersion teacher and the Principal did not care. I brought up my concerns with the Principal and its been 3 weeks, 1 conversation and 2 voicemail later without a response. It SADDENS me as a parent that the concern of BLACK children being MARGINALIZED has hit home for me, and even when my concerns were brought to the principal, its obvious NOW, NO ONE REALLY CARES.

From my experience this is a pretty good school, the teachers care about the students, supplies are given to students when they need it, and staff are good at maintaining the school.the school also does charity work too, we had donated food to a food bank and helped with donating money for charities. The school also had other little things happening, there was a candy-gram station where students sold candy for money, and there were pizza days. Snacks are provided, but you’d have to tell the school if you want to sign your child for the snack program. There were times where bathrooms were vandalized but it hasn’t happened even since, and there were a few floods. The library got flooded once, but it’s recovered,There hasn’t been any racism in this school(from what I’ve experienced) and no homophobia either.Overall pretty great school in terms or education and has a friendly environment, if you’re considering your child attending this school, it’s not a bad idea.

i’m now 18 and graduated out of high school but the teachers were GREAT. the students not so much. they pushed me down a flight of stairs and pinned me to the ground to colour all over my brand new white winter boots and told me “that’s what friends do.”i also had a friend and they pulled her wig off, called her a boy, and laughed at her because her head was shaved. the only reason it was shaved because she was kidnapped… and other not so good reasons BUT ITS NOT MY STORY TO SHARE.i don’t know what the kids are like now but i hope they were nothing like this when i was there.the teachers try their best to make everyone feel safe and welcome and are very good at teaching :))
