Claudine and Scott are the sweetest people around! I was doing some landscaping just outside of their store, and they offered a complimentary fruit quencher because the humidity was extreme today. We got to chatting and I had a look inside the cafe, and it’s so beautiful and warm in there. The quencher was delicious, and I can’t possibly put into words how much I appreciated their gesture of generosity. Thanks to you both, and I highly recommend!

A nice hometown place. The staff is very friendly and willing to adapt to their new location.The venue is a great location with a water view. There are so many seats and free wifi.The food is fun, it reminds me of something my mom would love and make.

I have been going to Chit Chat Cafe for years at their old location in the Frontenac Mall. The food has always been excellent, and the lovely owners and staff have always gone out of their way to make sure their many patrons are happy. I absolutely LOVE their new location downtown!!! The building is beautiful, with exposed limestone inside, sunshine streaming in and plenty of ambience. They offer homemade takeout food if you are on the run, excellent coffee, or you can dine in...they are renowned for their homemade soups! I go once or twice a week...try it out, I know you will be happy you did! ❤️

I just can't say enough good things about Claudine, Scott and the staff at Chit Chat Café. I brought in a large group from King's Town Trekkers Walking Club yesterday after a trolley tour and things went smoothly for having so many people all at once. They ALWAYS make sure they give the best service possible and that you are happy with your order. I wouldn't think of going to another coffee shop in downtown Kingston, and I don't even drink coffee, but they have a great selection of teas. Everything is top notch here!

Great space to hang out and enjoy a cup of coffee while avoiding the rain. We enjoyed coffee in the loft area and played a board game while having desserts. It was a welcoming environment. The glass fireplace was a nice touch!

Their take on the Starbucks refresher is 10x better than I’ve ever had. I had to hold myself back from drinking it all before we left the cafe. The vibes were also lovely. Would highly recommend!

I've been with ChitChat since the Frontenac Mall and I must say, this is by far the best cafe I have ever been to! The hot chocolate is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The grilled cheese sandwiches are also excellent - the perfect mix of crunchy and cheesy - and I could not have asked for better. I have been back so many times since my initial visit and I highly recommend ChitChat Cafe to anyone looking for a great cafe experience. Five stars (plus more) all the way!you walk in feeling like it's your cafe too

Enjoyed lunch in this quaint, rustic and enchanting café for the first time with an old friend. The owners’ friendly and welcoming demeanor was surpassed by their attention to detail and desire to please both via the kitchen and lending personalized service.
