Barrhead Healthcare Centre
This hospital doesn’t care about children. Imagine your child has pink eye and got an ear infection from it and they tell you that your child isn’t as important and the white ladies going first. I listened to one of the ladies triage and she was only there for anxiety and she went before my child that could die of a ear infection. The nurses there do not know anything about health risks and don’t care about you or your family. If a white lady with anxiety can go before a child that could die from that infection this hospital is pathetic and racist.

Hospitals should be open 24/7. I understand that there aren't many staff members but with the way that it is right now, if you have a medical emergency after 8pm and live in the Barrhead area you have to drive to Westlock or wait until 11am the next day. Hospitals aren't clinics. Clinics can have specific hours, Hospitals are supposed to be actually open all hours. Some of the staff is nice though

The staff were friendly and efficient while my husband was there for surgery. We couldn’t have asked for better care. He actually forgot his wedding ring under the bed in the recovery room and they found it and called us immediately. Thanks guys!!

I had a wonderful experience here and would make the drive from Edmonton for any other procedures I may need in the future. Nurses in day surgery were amazing (Virginia, Carmen, Sarah and Rita), along with Dr Shibil and Dr Dorego. I am forwarding a letter to the hospital as well to ensure they know how thankful I am for the patient care they provided. Thank you for taking the time to ensure I felt comfortable and at ease.

I had a very bad breathing problem. Sent me home in a few min and an hour later I almost died I couldent breath not even a little. Decently the worst hospital I've ever been in. They are also rude and judgemental. I would only go there if it's my only choice.

If I could give ten stars, I would. Every experience with Barrhead hospital has far exceeded all prior experiences with Healthcare.From janitorial staff to doctors, Every single person staffed at this hospital is compassionate, understanding, and caring.I am especially impressed by their level of professionalism when addressing mental health concerns.Thank you all so much for everything ❤️

its great that its in town. theres a horribly reputated Dr. there who has failed to detect cancer in patients. ive went hear nearly buckled over in some sort of chest/abdominal pain and didnt see any docs for about an hour and once i saw him i was told i evreything cleared just fine and went home. still dont know what happened to this day but this place is not your go to for a diagnosis

Had to visit to see an ailing relative. The staff were friendly and attentive. They actually went out of their way to assist in any way, and to make our visit enjoyable, considering the circumstances.
