Love this guy. He does an incredible job. He is super detail oriented. He makes great conversation. He is honest, real and is genuinely curious about your life. My kind of experience. The final product is the best haircut I have had for the most affordable price. Darren will be my barber for life.

Darren is fantastic. Choosing a new hair stylist can be hard especially when you're wanting a specific look. Just got my first cut done with him and he nailed the exact style I was going for. Now I understand why everyone in Tofino recommends this guy. Very well priced too! 5/5 stars

I often feel awkward when someone new cuts my hair. But not this time, he was easy to talk to, the studio was funky and my haircut came out fantastic.What else do you need. Easily worth the money in my opinion.If you're in Tofino and you want to look your best, do yourself a favor and get your cut here.

Not an lgbtq+ friendly business. Initially refused service because of power outage (understandable). The barber looked me up and down and said I don't cut girls hair." No additional contact likely because I appear feminine. I requested a traditional male haircut and have yet to receive any communication.I'm not a girl. Initial interaction felt rude and discriminatory. Please do not book with this company if you are LGBTQ+ or do not pass as a cisgender male."

Been going to Darren for a few months now, and have always walked away with more than just a sweet haircut. Lots of good conversation about mutual interests, and always offering his opinion on how to make my hair look best. We tried a few different styles and he always nailed it. Darren is a very creative and professional barber. His surf themed shop is super cozy, clean and stylish. He is a great conversationalist and has an amazing sense of humour. His schedule does get busy so if you want a cut - book in advance.
