Small family-owned bakery with fresh-baked croissant and reasonably tasty bread. To visit if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

Wow, great bakery. Reasonable prices as they use organic flour and local ingredients. 2.25$ for large croissants and 3.50$ for beautiful pastries. I will definitely go back . Enjoy!

Friendly, but i find more taste in commercial croissants…do not blame my taste but their lack of baking knowledge. Ever felt like chocolatine more dryness and less the sweetness? They’ve been making em since ‘98…mustve been a bad year in the baking industry or a shortage of ingredients…i truly do not know and it haunts my nights to this day.

We were visiting Montréal from upstate New York and LA and found ourselves in La Femme et le Boulanger's area for hiking. Stopping in on a whim to this cozy, humble place, we were absolutely blown away by the quality of service and food. The staff was incredibly helpful and made us feel absolutely at home, even with our mediocre French. The sandwiches the owner helped us pick out were incredibly delicious (apple and cheddar and the Italian ham) and he even set up our small table to make us comfortable and poured our beverages personally into glasses he brought out. The younger worker gave us complimentary apple pastries, and he was happy to showcase his delicious New Orleans-style beignet to us Americans. We could not have asked for a better experience on our first day in Quebec. Set the tone for our entire visit - thanks again to the staff at this fantastic bakery.

The bread is okay-ish if you manage to get a fully cook loaf. The croissant and chocolatine are different than what you can expect from a french style" bakery.Kudos to the chocolatine for having 3 bar of chocolate"

Good food good bread nice staff.

The worker was very kind and helpful.The croissant were a little soft and did not have to them crunch. The chocolatine was very good. The muffins were slightly dry.Overall a cute place but needs some work on the croissant. Cappuccino was good.

Great bread and decent coffee. Perfect stop before or after a hike at Mont St-Hilaire for trail or drive home snacks. Friendly staff and good selection of baked goods.

Croissants are like buttery bread. Not really like real croissants. Baguettes are usually under baked and just OK.Nothing here is bad but nothing leaves me wanting to come back.
