I invested in TFSA with BMO Calgary before covid, now it is 3 years, but there was not good gains as they committed at the time investment, moved to Ontario 2 years before, meet with the investment people 4 times in between, told my concerns about but they dont care and never gave any better advise, desparately I took out my investment yesterday and told them next week I will take my wife,s investment as well. Now first time in 3 years I got call today, but I dont care and told we have bigger plans but the service you people provided are the worst.

BMO (Britannia Plaza) 1465 Richmond Rd, Ottawa, ON K2B 6R9I have an account where money goes in once a month so no problem with service as i go there on a weekday around 1:00 pm and few people if any there.Friday I phoned the branch to see if my wife's cheques had arrived (the company for some reason couldn't find our high-rise condo on Ambleside-send a letter informing of this and that the cheques would be sent to the bank-has been well over two weeks wince then. Finally after doing the hierarchy of pushing buttons got the message that no one is available to answer your call"- this never happen at TD across the street where they have a receptionist for just that purpose and to give info to customers coming in.I was over at the branch Friday to check if my wife's cheques had arrived (had been assured that they would be delivered on Friday after more than 2 weeks). Line was formed out the door-were 3 teller's but one left to meet with a client-other teller's tied up with 1 customer each for over 15 minutes-)-no other staff in the branch at 11:00 am-found out the manager "had the day off"-probably part of his 5 day weekend-dresses well

I'm cancelling my BMO membership in a couple weeks once my taxes come in. I don't get who you people are to think you can ban crypto currency purchases from credit and debit cards. ITS MY MONEY, IF I WANT TO GIVE IT TO A SCAM ARTIST I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO! You banks are scared of the power that cryptos have and your trying to deny the public from purchasing crypto currencies from your bank...... it blows my mind that you people did this, I'm cancelling my account with BMO since they have the worst customer service , longest wait time in bank, and stupidest policies... A couple more years until blockchain technology is implemented in the world and say bye bye to centralized banks. I'm able to purchase crypto currencies from my TD Bank account but not BMO. It should be my right to purchase anytime I want , and let the law enforcement do the rest, how can you tell someone no you can't buy Bitcoin with our bank because we said so.......

Shameful experience with online banking" Account ended up blocked. The issue should have been referred to management for resolution. Instead the personnel on the phone only toyed with me. In addition I was on hold long enough to prepare and eat lunch

Bmo online banking will not show all my accounts. I have a chequing account, line of credit and business Mastercard, however the online account will not show my business Mastercard now that my line of credit has been added to my online account. Meaning I can not see any balances or activities or transfer funds online to pay off balances or see any e-statements. I will now have to go into a bank to do any of these when it comes to my business credit card. Their online banking is not as advertised. It is one of the worst experiences I have had with online services. Very frustrating for a small business. I am looking forward to settling all debts with Bmo and switching banks.

I've been with BMO since the 90'S. I've never ever had a huge problem with them till today. I had an issue that was totally BMO fault, the branch manager told me after the whole day of fighting with them I will fix the error but I suggest you close your account and never deal with BMO again" Are you f'in kidding?! After all the loyal years I've given to BMO this is how your gonna treat your customers...well bye bye BMO and hello to Scotiabank"

I started banking with BMO about 20 years ago. It was never a very stellar experience. They just held my money and provided me with the bare essentials of banking. They never went the extra mile or tried to engage customers.I recently got into some financial difficulties that are on their way to being resolved. I contacted the customer service departments 3 times and still received letters and phone calls saying that I never even attempted to contact them. Even my family received phone calls saying that I've never contacted them. I've had to correct information that was recorded improperly, put up with poor advice (e.g., borrow money from elsewhere to pay us")

Tried to set up the account online and through the process were told several times that the online process will save me a trip to the branch. Account setup was completed and fully functional.Day after that received email that to complete the application I need to visit the branch. And the new account was suspended until then. What a waste of time.At the branch I had to provide all the same information. The suspended account was completely cancelled and I had to go through the whole process again. Why launch online application process if you still force the customer to go to the branch and repeat the application again?
