While staying at the Woodcliff we ordered from here. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the food was good. We ordered what the menu said was hot SALSA and what was sent was straight up hot SAUCE. When we called the gentleman I spoke to argued with me that it was in fact salsa. The sauce had not one single piece of tomato or onion or a spec of cilantro which salsa is supposed to contain. Instead of trying to make it right he just kept going back and forth with me telling me that it was salsa and it was homemade. Luckily we don’t live around here or they would have lost good customers. All over salsa. What he should have said was I’m sorry sir we can have that ready for you if you want to come back.

We had the Chori Pollo and Burrito Ranchero with the spicy sauce (it's good - definitely spicy)-- everything was delish. The place is on the smaller size but we did takeout. Would visit again!!

Lowest quality yet most expensive Mexican I have ever had. Prices on the menu were high, yet different menus had different prices. The worst was the actual quality. One burrito was supposed to have beans, none came. Just meat inside. Mold on children's burger bun. No cheese on our order, which matched the menu but it still is a surprise to miss a standard ingredient. Perhaps worst of all was the red sauce on the burritos and tacos. It was almost certainly some kind of spaghetti sauce with that chef boyardee kind of flavor. Waitresses were nice, but the cook had some rude comment about having a large family.We were charged more for using credit instead of cash. Kids menu was pricy. $12.00 per child. No drinks came with their meals which is pretty standard. It turned out to be less expensive for my kids to order two items off the adult sides menu. Strange! I don’t mind paying the price as long as the food is quality and made properly. The owner didn’t earn a second visit.

Great food and service. It was so good I my entire burrito plate! Will definitely be back for dinner so I can try the margaritas.

I ordered a cheese steak quesadilla which says it comes w lettus tomatoe and french fries. Which it did not. I told the staff I was not gonna pay $9.00 for just that and not have what it was advertised to come come with. The owner refused to add the FF and sides and locked me inside and stood in front of the door and told me I could not leave until I paid as he told his waiter to call the cops. I did as well obviously cause of him locking me in. I left the money for the soda and a $5.00 tip that I handed to the waiter who seemed scared of the owner. Long story short I Paid for what I touched with no issue before it became one. He also told the cops that if I was black or brown fixing my order would've been no problem. Told cops his business is doing bad and the cop told him... Well I can see why, this isn't typically how you treat customers you need money from. I would never go back. This place is wrong on so many levels. There was no-one there but me. Now In see why.

Service is very good. However, unlike most Mexican restaurants locally, they only serve 1 basket of chips and salsa per table. We ordered the 3-cheese dip with crumbled sausage. It came with a basket of chips. The dip was very good.I had a Molcajete: strips of beef, shrimp and chorizo with sauteed onion and bell pepper. I did not see any chorizos, perhaps it was crumbled into the sauce. It was very good, but it did not come with any starch (i.e. rice, bread or tortilla). I asked the waitress for a side of rice, and she charged me $2.25 for it.My son had the asada with ranchero extra spicy. He liked it but complained that it only had 2 pieces of shrimp.My husband had the carne asada. Thin cuts of steak, grilled with onions. He said the beef was a little skimpy and not as tasty as other asada he has had elsewhere.

Ordered for two, with the price tag of $71. Which, isn't terrible, but still on the high side... You would think. Until you get your food and realize not only is it expensive, but they clearly cut corners every chance they got. Making this feel like the most expensive non-satisfying meal you've ever gotten. Let me explain.We got one order of fajitas and one order of molcajete. I was blown away to see each of these was no less than 90% peppers. I'm not even exaggerating a little when I say only 10% of it was actual meat. I took the time to separate the peppers and meat because I was genuinely curious. I can't upload the picture I took, but it's about two containers full of peppers and a cup and a half of meat. I guess that's why they give you three tortillas, cuz they know you're not going to fill up more than that. Also, why only three tortillas? Any other even slightly decent Mexican place is going to give you more than that.No extra salsa, no extra sides, no tortilla chips, no limes. Even the utensils they gave you were cheap.The flavor was okay, just wish we could have enjoyed more of it. We paid $71 and because we didn't want to eat a predominantly pepper meal, we are still hungry..Serving your customers this type of experience with this kind of price tag, sends only one message, we don't respect you.When the biggest positive after eating at a restaurant is that you now know not to go there, you've got a problem.Management will likely scoff and makeup excuses for this review, please do not let this make you think for a second this is a one-off experience. Just read the other reviews. I would advise you to quite literally go just about anywhere else, and that's saying something considering there isn't a lot of great Spanish food in Rochester. Heck, Taco Bell isn't too far and at least you'll get good price to portion.Lastly, this review, in no way shape or form, is a reflection of the cooks. I know for a fact, they are only doing what they are told. This is 100% of management issue. If you are reading this management, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Stopped when passing through for some chips and margaritas. Very cute little restaurant in a quiet area. Taco salad was dimple but tasty. Margaritas also tasty.
