Revera The Village

This was an emotional time and the support from the staff was truly amazing!!! We were able to move in mom’s belongings and it made the room feel and look like home. It is an overwhelming experience andthe staff is welcoming, helpful and friendly.We called mom in the morning and she had the first restful sleep in awhile. She was able to shower and move around with confidence again. Everything is set up for their needs.

The Village staff in Hanover work hard to look after our mother and they do a wonderful job. Sadly however, we see the nursing staff challenged to keep up with high turnover and shortages. This has resulted in some difficulties. The food mom constantly complains about is definitely NOT what we see in the Revera on-line photos. The menu sounds tasty but the plate set before her can be cold or simply inedible. It concerns me to hear that there have been times mom sees that the majority leave hungry. This is not the kitchen staff's fault as they can only serve what the budget permits. This segment of the population is at risk and needs the fresh, healthy food displayed in the on-line photos. This is worrisome, especially at flu season. Revera is truly lucky to have great management, office, nursing and support staff in Hanover. They often go above and beyond" despite the challenges. Head office needs to do a better job in recognizing that Hanover's staff wants to have the ability to do the outstanding job Revera promises to all."

The Village has great food, friendly staff, lots of activities to keep you or your loved one active. The Village is a great place to be! If you have not taken a tour - call today and ask for Louise! Louise and her staff are warm and welcoming. Don't believe me? stop in for yourself!

The Village Seniors Community is a warm and inviting place for yourself or family members to reside. “Community” is the right term, as you will find plenty of helpful staff and residents that make you feel right at home!

My mother moved into this facility just over 1 year ago taking up residence in one of the independent living apartments. Overall this has been a very positive experience allowing her to reacquaint with old friends and making new ones. A safe, clean, community environment with good amenities and services. Would recommend this facility.

The staff in Revera's Retirement Living made mom feel welcome and safe from the first day. Each night when I speak with her, she has something positive to say on how her day went. This is a result of an action or conversation of a staff member. Mom is very happy and content living in her retirement living apartment , which brings myself and my sisters peace of mind.

If you have yet to do so, make your way over to meet the FABULOUS Louise! She has the biggest heart and she will help your loved one feel more than welcome. I worked as a Recreation Aide for 6 months here and it has been the best LTC home I've ever worked at. Such a supporting manager (Janet) and supporting co-workers. I hope Janet knows how amazing of a Manager she is! Even if she had a long busy day, she always greeted you with the warmest smile. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The friendly, professional Revera The Village" management and staff have made my parents feel at home from Day 1. Any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. The Independent Living Valleyview Building is warm and welcoming
