Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Exceptional good 100% chocolate. Love this place. My favourite chocolate for consume and gifts.

EDIT: This was previously a 1 star review. However, I am amazed at how Purdy's customer care handled this! They emailed me back and were very apologetic. The store manager called me to personally apologize, and offered me ice cream and chocolates for the inconvenience this has caused. Really shows that a big company like Purdy's care about it's long term customers and turning this situation around. Shoutout to Jo Ann and Yuko at the Pacific Centre location, they were very helpful. THANKS!Original review:I came in on Sunday at Purdy's CF Pacific Centre approximately 20 minutes before their 7pm close. We were really craving the white chocolate ice cream bar and when we got there, the employee rudely told us that they already closed down the ice cream bar and that they were no longer serving it. I told her we drove a really far distance to come here and get our favourite ice cream, and that we were long term customers and huge fans of the chocolates and products. She didn't care and didn't serve us, and started shutting down the location with 15-20 mins left before close. They just wanted to go home early and didn't care about the customers.Purdy's, if you're not going to serve customers until the stated store hours, please update your store hours or on the website. Nothing is mentioned on your website that ice cream is served only until 20 mins prior to close. Customers who arrive before 7pm should still be served. Ridiculous. Go get ice cream elsewhere like Earnest or Rain or Shine, at least they have better customer service.

Is it an ice cream!?!? She just directly put the nuts onto the cone! That’s gross!!! Can’t even tolerate it! I will just never come to this store again! Nobody ask me for the chocolate topping! That’s just disgusting to combine the ice cream and the nut together!

My favourite chocolate store. Definitely a Vancouver icon and it’s a good gift idea for abroad. Obsessed with the hedgehogs, dark chocolate bar, and chocolate coins. Those are my favourite! Staff have been friendly to me at this location.

They always provide great chocolates.There are many different types of chocolates and they look very good. Whenever I go to this store, the staff is always friendly and helpful.The chocolates and ice cream are very good. Stylish and fun, this is a chocolate store I would go back to again and again!

Been going to purdy's since a kid for the traditional ice cream chocolate dipped bar with mixed nuts. Still just as good in flavour, and chocolate goodness. They dip it in white chocolate then darker chocolate, then smother with nuts. Price is now $5.25!! Inflation!

Best place EVER for chocolate! But what happened to lovely giftwrapping, little boxes of four chocolates, cellophane bags with ribbon for gift-giving? We're long past shortages, aren't we? I miss those little touches that Purdys used to offer.

Their chocolates are amazing! Best place for a chocolate fix at a reasonable price. They also have a small selection of ice cream. My son had 1 scoop of the bubblegum which is really good. A friend of mine ordered 1 scoop of espresso dipped in white chocolate in a cone. The ice cream was really good, but I didn’t care for the chocolate. Highly recommend if you’re near one to try a few goodies!

My kids and I love it here, specially the ice cream with nuts. We discovered the goodness of their ice cream when their manager in this branch encouraged us to try it out after buying a variety of chocolates.The chocolates are good but the ice cream coated with chocolates and nuts are the BEST. From this time onwards, we never fail to stop at Purdys whenever we find one as my kids are begging for more. :)Thanks to the nice staff at CF Pacific Centre specially to the manager for introducing Purdys to us. We are newcomers to Canada and just found Vancouver to be our new home!
